Welcome to my very first blog post here at Enchanted Folk.

I just happened to come across this site the other day and absolutely loved it.

Okay, where should I start??? I hate talking about myself. So boring. :)

Anyway, I'm Kathy. I'm a married mom of 2 who has been creating fairy art since late 2003.

I started out with a website called Enchanted Scribbles, then FaeryStore and the most current, Artsy Chic Studio. I wanted a domain that could hold all art, not just fairies. On top of that I love creating, so whether I'm into painting one day or sculpting the next, the current site can hold it all.

Let's see what else..... I've been published in MoonShadows magazine, 500 Fairy Motifs, etc.

All of which were older pieces of art. These days when I look back on those first fairies, I cannot help but cringe. lol. They were so bad. Ugh! lol.

I've been trying to make a semi living from my art and at times it's definitely had it's ups and downs. So going, actually. But there is just something about creating fairies and fantasy that I love and will never stop doing.

As you can probably see from my profile, I like alot of different things. From 50's music to present, from romantic comedy movies to the stupid funny ones. I'm actually a wuss when it comes to scary/horror movies. Can't watch 'em. lol.

I'm babbling, I know. Have a tendency to do that. lol.

Since this was a test entry and my first one at that, I'll end here for now.
