Engaged at last!
Hey everyone! I meant to write this blog a few days ago, but jet-lag made it kind of hard! Anyway, Blake (my boyfriend) and I finally got engaged after dating for almost 5 and a half years! He did it on the most romantic spot on the planet too! The Eiffel Tower!!! He took me up to the second level since the third was closed, and after a bit he found a spot and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I cried and said yes! He said all kinds of sweet stuff afterward which he had planned on saying before, but he got nervous! I think that is so cute that even after dating for so long he got nervous :). Also, he is afraid of heights, so the fact that he faced that fear to ask me was amazing! Anyway, I am so excited and can't wait to share the rest of my life with such a wonderful man. What a story to tell the children and grandchildren :).
Blessings,
Wendy

Dear Wendy & Blake - Magical Blessings on your exciting engagement, we are so thrilled for you both & wish you a wonderful life ahead together, congratulations. What a beautiful, romantic moment to treasure forever, thank you so much for sharing your special photos. (Drew and I were dating for five years before we got married & we've been together now for 28 - takes a lot of work & patience! but worth it. We still argue!! but the history we have together is like a glue ;) |
New baby
Hi everyone! I hope today finds you all happy and healthy! I got my puppy on Tuesday and he has been such a joy! He's still learning that this is his house, but he knows I am "Momma" :). He is absolutely adorable and I will post pics of him as soon as I can get them on my computer. I hope you all have a blessed day!
Blessings,
Wendy
P.S. Thanks for your kind words during the trauma of the tornado aftermath :)
Tornados at Union
Hey y'all! It seems like every time I post, it's bad news, and I am sorry for that. Anyway, I am sure most of you have heard that Jackson TN was hit by tornadoes and that the Campus of Union University was devastated. It is very true. That is the school I go to, and it is my senior year. I am one of the fortunate ones. So many lost everything. Please pray for all those affected by this devastation. Thanks so much for everything!
Blessings,
Wendy

I'm sorry this happened. The storms skipped most of Nashville but hit east of here. The community has really been helping those that were hit. Chris |

Dear Wendy, we were so shocked to see these pictures - we don't get these kind of storms over here and seeing the damage makes one realise how disastrous they are. I am so sorry and will be thinking of you, with hopes that everyone affected will be able to sort themselves out without too much anguish. Sending you love and strength, Be |

Hi Wendy, |
Praise be for nice people
So I had an incident on Saturday where I slipped and fell and my poor cell phone went flying and got run over by an SUV. Luckily I still have insurance, so I am able to get it replaced. I was so glad to hear a nice person on the line regarding my cell phone. I told the lady what happened and she said "The cell phone we can replace, we can't replace you, so I am glad you didn't get run over!" It was so refreshing to hear that someone cared about my situation beyond a material possession. On an even happier note, my Blakey and I went and looked at rings he other day :). That makes me so happy! We are going to France on choir tour this Spring, so it would be wonderful if he popped the question there! Anywho, off to studying. Take care all!

Wendy
Happy Holidays!!!
I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! No matter what you celebrate, this is such a wonderful time of the year to share with family and friends! I hope you all have a blessed and safe time this holiday season!

Wendy
P.S. Thank goodness school is out for a bit! I was about to tear my hair out! :P
