Thomas, my son, is 26 today!!!!  He is visiting from Nashville and it has been great but this morning the heater stopped working!!!  It is a bit chilly here in paradise!

One day it was early Setember and the next, it is November and almost Thanksgiving!  I have been busy with my art, my family and substitute teaching.  I just don't know where the months went!  I want to wish a beautiful day to all.  It is cool and clear here in Paradise. 

I can't believe it is Setember all ready.  I turned around and the months of June, July and August raced by and wow, school is back in session.  Paycheck time again.  That is nice.  But the summer was wild.  We lost my Father-in-Law to Alzheimer's, went to see him one month and he was okay and gone the next.  I am sad but...terrible illness. 

I woke up this morning and felt like playing in my studio.  However, it had to wait as I had some really must do errands.  I wrote down things that popped into my head as I scurried through Walmart getting cat food and bird seed.  Horsefly/horse fly, fairy pony, flower wands... I giggled as I wrote and smiled much to the concern of the earth bound individuals who were around me.  I have found that most people when they encounter someone who is obviously in a grand mood, scurry away.  But that is okay, they are the ones missing out on the hidden laughter.  Anyway, I am tired now but my mind has provided me with lots of images to try out and after a bit, I am going to go play!

It is amazing how sick you can feel with bronchitis.  One day I was feeling tired and a little hoarse, two days later, I am at the doctor getting an emergency breathing treatment.  I won't take taking a deep breath for granted for a while!  I am feeling better thanks to some drugs and rest.  I have so new ideas that I dreamed while I was feverish and I am feeling finally like heading into the studio. 

The sun is rising and I am ready to create, play and laugh again.
