Well it has been a long couple of weeks since I last posted. My nephew is doing better than even his doctors expected.
Once his ribs and his lung heal completely they will go in and fix what is broken in his back.
My husband’s Aunt passed to the other side, and my other nephew, the Air Force one, had a beautiful son, they named
Colten Kyle Downing. He was born early had just now got released from the hospital. Yet for Kyle, his daddy
it was bitter sweet because the next day his grandmother on his mother’s side passed away with out ever getting
to hold her great grandson. So with all that and my commission work, I have been totally bushed by the end
of each day.
Also a plea...to anyone in the Northern Indiana area, especially, Starke, Cass, White, Pulaski, or Jasper County I will trade a normal $500.00 dollar commission
for a wagon load of good alfalfa hay. Honest barter offer. I will need delivery though, I don’t have a wagon
so I will pay for gas too, just save your fill up receipt please.
Okay I still have a few things to do!

Nephew Hurt in Motorcycle Accident...Prayers Please

My nephew was in very bad motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon, yes he was wearing a helmet.
He has been sent on to to South Bend with severe injuries.
Please pray to whom ever or what ever you hold as sacred that he recovers.
Morning Update: Here is what I have so far, collapsed lung, several badly broken ribs,
one bad laceration, possible broken or badly chipped disk in his back.
Please keep in mind ...I have not heard this from any doctor's mouth
so there might be things I have gotten wrong. It is hard when your news is coming from 50 different directions, with each one having an opinion of their own....grin.
He is at South Bend and they are going to do more tests, then turn the specialists lose on him.
Which is good because our tiny small town hospital is nick named the band aide station.
As of now he is listed in serious but stable condition...We should know more later after we see him and talk to his docs and nurses.
Him and that crotch rocket, took out four tombstones I have been told
....he should have laid the bike down and let go.
Better to have some serious road rash, and a couple broken bones,
than plowing through four grave stones. Inexperience I think was a huge factor in this accident.
The helmet saved his life. I add this for all my younger FB friends. Read what me a grandmother of two has to say,
then see if you can apply it to make your life better. Always sacrifice the bike,
no motor cycle is worth your life, not even an original Indian, or tricked out, bad assed Harley!

You can send me a copy of the picture to scan myself, and I will return it with your package.
Photo Rules and Restrictions:
1. Pictures can not be taken by professional studio, unless that studio gives me a written from of consent that
they are allowing you to use their photography in such a way. All written forms of consent will be triple checked through phone calls, email, and snail mail.
2. Pictures can not be under any type of copyright,
or trademark what so ever. Do not ask me to do a picture of your child with
any character that is trademarked or copyrighted, as per examples....Disney, Marvel Comics, etc. I will not infringe on another's legal property.
3. They must be clear and clean photographs. No blurring, over exposure, etc. The simpler the background the better,
but no worries if the picture you have has stuff in the background. It is also very important that the subject (child,man,woman)
have nothing setting in front of them, unless you want what ever is front of them in the picture.
4. Unless you have a smart phone, like an Android, or iPhone that can be set to high resolution settings for picture taking,
a camera phone picture will not make the cut.

because I am soooo very ready for summer time.
I also want to sent out prayers on the winds for the people of Chile,
who suffered in the latest quake to rock our planet,
and one the largest ever recorded at 8.8.

Why is it you always get a bad cold when you simply just don’t have the time to be sick?

Still plugging away at the web site, it is beginning to feel like my never ending cold, but there is light on the horizon. Going to spend most of the day working on it, after checking mail and updating journals. BUT…yes the but…this evening and tonight I am going to paint. I have to or I am going to burn out on the web work.
Personal Stuff
I had a glorious dinner last night. I was able to eat and digest with no terrible side effects, my entire dinner. Joy joy, dance dance…..wheeeee!!! You don’t know how blasted happy this makes me. Well I need to get my rump to work.

Idle Thoughts
Sometimes when it looks like you are at the bottom, you forget to look up, but when you do you find that up is the only direction left to go.
Web Site
Decided to just go another route entirely and am converting pages to a completely new system, did around 75 today for the site. Once it is all together, then I will only have to change the css to change the look. I got completely and totally frustrated trying to fix the other data base. It was a complete crusher to have every ready to go, do all the uploads and have the site just not even be were it was supposed to be. So instead of crying about it, I started new and am well on the way to "live" soon. I might go back to the other database some day but for now this is going to be great. The design is slick, and I am happy with how it is coming along.
Art & Business
Haven’t gotten much art done at all but once the site is done and up I will be back in saddle. Taxes done and sent.
Personal Stuff
Well I been fighting this fraking cold for what seems like forever. If I am ever able to breath out both nostrils again it will be a "testify" type of miracle. So I have been making myself get enough sleep, even though I want to be up and doing. I am also making sure I am getting tons of fluids, most of which is water. Yet still the cold lingers.

Great news
My dad got all his tests results back and he has a case of polyps and they are benign but they are going to remove them any way. Thank you to everyone for the emails, prayers, candles, and well wishes In his behalf. You are all so totally wonderful!

My Father
Dad has more tests today. I am keeping one set of fingers metaphorically crossed that this isn't something serious. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone for all the comments, and emails with well wishes, prayers, and lit candles for my father's health. You all really do rock!
Art & Business Stuff
Web work today again. The site is coming along, slow going at times, but coming along. Been working already this morning for two hours, and will knock off at noon, lunch, then work on the project I have been hinting at. Got a good start on my "Shades of Blue" piece, and plan on working on it late evening and tonight.
