Imagine you're in a big hardware store, looking for wood. You think you've found the beams you want and lean over to inspect them. Suddenly, right from out of a dark cleft in front of you, a kitten pops out, tail up, mewling, obviously wanting to play! Your surprise turns into a smile, and you fetch a clerk to help you. "Where did this little one come from?" you ask her. She smiles, saying that ferral cats live outside, though one had kittens inside, and that the kittens are obviously quite friendly. "Would you like to keep it?" she asks, and knowing that you've been thinking of getting a kitty recently, your heart quickly says "yes."
So this is "Cali." The Calico. She's actually my neighbor Teri's kitten, though we're like family (I get to see her all the time). Obviously I couldn't resist photographing her, eh? ;^)
Oh and btw, that "heart" pattern on her side? That's no Photoshop trick. It's entirely natural.
Kitten Love
Hip-Hop Faeries!
Out watering the lawn today, I noticed a Tree Frog hippity-hoppiting away. I then remembered a photo I saw one of you put up here, and the rest is history... (One photo goes to Lesley's site, one to the new image. ;^)
Hazzah to Cassandra & Celena!
The faery Cassandra dost bring us love and light, whereas the faery Celena dost be a goddess of Luna. I do be so glad to see these two finally join us, and have come up with these two images of them... though I do not know of which to favour! (Perchance thouest might say?)
Dancing Færies
Lookin' out my front door.
A Momma deer visits me often, giving birth each Spring. Here's this year's fawn, already a month and a half old, and much bigger than when I saw it the first time. She's pretty tolerant of me, and as long as I rock back and forth, I'm taken as a plant in the breeze. They walked right up within a yard of me this morning as I took pics (an hour and a half ago), wanting to share them for you to love too. :^)
