In the Valley of the Shadow

    Friday, October 5, 2007, 12:11 AM [General]

    Hi Everyone,
I have a stunning new angelic painting on auction!

IN THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW
8x10 Watercolor on 140lb hot press paper.
This girl never walks alone even when surrounded by swirling, sinister darkness.  Glowing angel wings surround her, sent by the Most High King for her protection.
This is one of my new favorite paintings, and it has a stunningly glowing atmosphere.

Also, "To Grandmother's House" is available as prints:

    TO GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE 8X10 PRINT
    TO GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE 5X7 PRINT

    Thanks for looking!

Oh boy, another late night.  Still making stuff for FaerieCon.  I need to finish it up tonight I think.  My grandpa was over for dinner earlier, we watched Fantastic Four:  The Silver Surfer (which I've already seen) and I made zucchini bread.  The bread was a hit!!  There is still so much zucchini I could make many more loaves.  My dad's boss has a zucchini garden and he likes to share.  :)
Agh, my fat kitty is trying to steal my tea!!  Naughty salad.  Back to work... *whip cracks in the air*

    Making Prints for FaerieCon

    Thursday, October 4, 2007, 01:32 AM [General]

So I've started an Enchanted Folk page! Always fun to find new artist communities.  I am going to be copying my blog from LiveJournal to here.

I'm currently making stuff for FaerieCon. I've had so little time to do it, and already it's 11pm! Wah. Boy did my printer need a head cleaning. Happily I finished 2 paintings today, but I shan't post them until tomorrow I think. I am very happy with them both, thank goodness -- nothing cheers an artist up like finishing paintings one actually LIKES. Now I must do another book illustration sketch and get started painting on 2 of those.
Here's my little art station today ;)

Those are the 2 paintings peeking out in their WIP stages. And my Kiba cat so I can look at him while I work....
I felt a little camera happy today, so here are some random pictures.

    My squishy tiger!

    Little Miss Muffet!

    Pretty leaves.
I reckon that's all for this time, folks. Tomorrow I hope to post the new pretty pretties.
