I've given the corn offering to the fae in their circle. And have finished the gravel drive. They will have to wait a few days for the trailers to be moved and ready to live in. So far they seem happy with the changes in the yard... hope all goes well once we have the trailers in their spots.

There was ice in the water this morning and frost on the leaves... even with the heat this afternoon I feel the chill of winter.

Fall will come soon and I am hoping to have the septic and water lines in before the hard freeze. The Pixies and other Fae who keep watch on my land want to see me and mine living there soon. Still waiting on DEQ for the septic details but will be doing it asap just waiting for the papers (sigh).

Could wish that my only worries were the two cats and six young kittens making it through the Fall and into Winter... Coyotes being resident in the valley and all. Life seems to be sending me all kinds of puzzels to figure out...

Yes more about Peregrine's surgeries. The second eye surgery went just fine. It took less time then the first one which was good since the ride home had a detour that included a stop in Silverlake... adding more then a half hour to the trip home. The weather was hot but other then catching flys in the car going home we left Bend in better shape then when we got there. Peregrine now has 20/25 vision in his right eye and 20/40 vision in his left eye and Dr Dimming says that his left eye will improve with time. Other then  a few more weekly eye exams it looks like we won't have to go into Bend for a while... and then it will probably be dental work to be done. that's all for now.

Just a not to let folks know that Peregrine Silverleaf's eye surgery went fine and he will have another eye surgery on 7/21/09. Everything is now very bright when he looks through his right eye.

Midsummersday was cold and gray, will have to make it up to Peregrine... perhaps our wedding anniversary will be nicer then his 68th birthday was? I do hope so.
