About Me: Goddess, poet, scribe of stories. Artist of stick figures. Aspiring belly dancer. Drummer of the djembe and doumbek. Advocate for mental health care. Daughter of a mother "blessed" with schizophrenia. Victress over clinical depression (most days). Priestess and admirer of the Goddess. Affectionate for and respectful of the Fae.
Music: Middle Eastern and African Drumming. Nature. Anything that suits my mood. Creative expression is a beautiful thing.
Movies: Pan's Labyrinth, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Prestige, Marie Antoinette. I love foreign films. Anything with depth and some without.
TV: Not much. Nature and dancing are more interesting. I have to admit I do like Grey's Anatomy, House, Numbers, and Boston Legal. And some late night comedy when I get home from work is sometimes nice.
Books: Most recently, "Muses, Madmen, and Prophets": the role of auditory hallucination through human history. I'm not much of a reader these days, I do internet research a lot, mostly because I'm interested in how the brain works and in some cases why it sometimes has trouble working. I'm an aspiring psychiatrist. A good one, that is.
Likes: Loud music, a good night's sleep, phone calls from a good friend, a warm contained fire (bonfire, fireplace), the Ocean, a nice walk, a sunny day, the smell of rain, a kind smile, good people, my chihuahua Rocco. All kinds of things.
Dislikes: People disrespectful of the divinity of other people. Anything that hinders creative expression and true expression of the self.
Hobbies: Drumming, belly dancing, sleeping, MySpace, soon to be sewing and costuming once I figure out how to get started.
    Vices: Chocolate. Ice Cream. Yum.
Virtues: Please. I'm a saint. Must you ask? *wink*
Heroes: Mothers, nurturers, fathers who are good to their daughters. The inventors of the Internet,PC, lightbulb, and every modern tool and invention that allows people to have the cushy lifestyle we enjoy in this age. Those who help others. My best friend who became my sister, and her parents. My granny and nana who passed last year.

I've just built my page today, I'm not quite sure what to say here that's not said on my profile. I'm just doing what the profile wizard said I should do. So, here I am! Write to me as you will and I will do the same.

Hello Ceredwyn, thank you for joining our EF community, I have really enjoyed reading your profile - Rocco sounds adorable, please may we see a photo? I adore small waggy things, my JellyBean (Toy Yorkie) is like a familiar to me - she's my constant companion, comforter & joy! She struggles valiantly to balance on my lap while I'm Enchanted Folk-ing & working, & is never far from my side, even at night;) except, that is, when there's a patch of warm sunshine to bask in! Your drumming sounds amazing - there's a fantastic drum circle at the wonderful Spoutwood Fairie Festival in May, & it truly permeates my bones in a primaeval way for weeks after...
    Smiles & happy puppy thoughts,
