About Me: I am, well,... me!! Anyone who knows me well enough will understand what I mean by that. I am the epitome of the eclectic and eccentric. I can, at the very least claim to appreciate almost anything when it comes to movies and music, but I do of course have my preferences. They are just far too numerous and varied to list. I am an avid reader. I am known for reading whole books in days and sometimes even hours. I am a complete and unadulterated "flame dame" to a number of my gay male friends. The Goddess and God may have given me only one brother by blood, and he is with Them now, but they sent me all of you to let me know I will never be alone. I love you guys!! I adore singing. I am by reputation something of a local karaoke queen. I'm a pretty good dancer, particularly where Latin ballroom dancing is concerned. I am the eldest of 5 children, so I am very responsible by nature, fiercely devoted to and protective of my family and friends. I am engaged to a wonderful guy who I have been with for over 5 years. He is my Joeybear. We live together in our cozy apartment right near a park in upstate NY with our furbabies Persephone, who is also my familiar, and Rhadymathys. I am a solitary(for the most part...there are a few exceptions to this general rule)practitioner of the Wiccan/Eclectic Pagan faith. I will very soon take my vows as a priestess of the Old Ways, and I will continue to always be a student as well as a teacher. Blessed Be!!!

Music: Josh Groban, Heart, Chicago, Evanesence, Pendulum, The White Stripes, Whitney Houston, Shania Twain, Genesis/Phil Collins, Loreena McKennitt, Meatloaf, DJ Kwik, Guns & Roses, Bon Jovi, Reba McEntire, Air Supply, Madonna, Some Trance/Techno/Electronica, Anything Broadway, Almost any Classical, Just about any Opera, I am a big fan of 80's music in general as well. Like I said..eclectic.

Movies: I like old stuff as well as new. One of my guilty pleasures is crappy B-rated horror flicks. :-P

TV: I like House, Scrubs, Law& Order-any series, South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons, and a few others. I don't have cable anymore so my choices are somewhat limited. I prefer movies in general anyway.

Books: Anything by Scott Cunningham, The Harry Potter Series, All of Anne Rice's novels, Almost any of John Grisham and Robin Cook, and a little of Mary Higgins Clark. Myall time favorite book is The Neverending Story by Michael Ende.

Likes: I like contentedness, comfort, and warmth.

Dislikes: I dislike dishonesty, hypocrites, and judgmental attitudes.

Vices: Sloth, probably. I love to stay up late...maybe till the wee hours of the am and then sleep till 3 or 4 pm and just chill in my apartment with family and friends.

Virtues: I think my strong points are: my empathy, my compassion, my innate need to help others (which can also double as a weakness, unfortunately), my ability to see things from another perspective, my "sixth sense" concerning others, my ability to learn from life and take from it what I need to grow, and my devotion to those I love.

Heroes: My Dad -Russ. He is the strongest person I know without becoming a hardened person due to it. He'll never know how much I have learned from him. There are others, but none so important to me as him.
