Since I am out of work I have been looking for cheap things to do so I won't be so bored. I found at the local senior center carvers meet and it is free! So I went to check it out and now I am learning to carve a unicorn. The person running it is so nice, he is letting me use his tools and he is teaching me to carve with a piece of wood he gave me to carve my unicorn. Will let EF friends know how it comes out. I hope to be able to show a picture of it on my blog. Who knows, if it comes out good I may try carvering tables using fantasy figures such as fairies,dragons,etc as bases :)!
They have a sculpting class during the day I would like to look into. It may help me to try and make fairy and other fantasy dolls. I may be able to go until I get back to work. I have to work full time so this is something I can't do every week.
