About Me: I do believe and have believed since fairies began to protect me from 'gremlins' that used to haunt me. I now have several tatoos, loads of artwork, figurines, dolls, anything of fairyland I can collect.

Music: Tori Amos, Styx, Nickelback, Linken Park, Neil Diamond, really too many to name.

Movies: The Princess Bride is my favorite, but others I like would be Sahara, the Indiana Jones Series, the Star Wars series, Ever After, Fairies, Ferngully, The Last Unicorn; again, too many to name.

Books: Anne Rice, V.C. Andrews, Peirs Anthony's Xanth Series, Terry Brooks Landover Series, lots of non-fiction and do it yourself books. I like to learn.

Likes: You'd need a large book to keep it all in: archery, beading, crochet, plastic canvas crafts, reading, music, movies, gardening, baking, painting (decorative), writing in my journal when i have time, fairies, castles, keychains, shot glasses (trying to collect one from each state), salt and pepper shakers (novelty ones), swimming, window shopping....

I am glad to know there are so many other believers out there. Some of the people around me think i'm 'off' because I believe. But that's their problem. I am mainly here to meet others with fairies in their lives. Others who believe. Some tell me I'm too old for this sort of thing. But I didn't discover how to be free of the influence of others until very late. And I whole-heartedly believe you are only as old as you allow yourself to be. So I'm not too old for anything.

We moved to a very small town from New Orleans, LA after Katrina washed us away. This town has about 1500 people, if that. Most of them are very old or very young. Not many around my age. So I only have 2 friends and a few elder acquaintances. Not too many others I feel like I can talk to. But I have discovered making friends online and that it can actually be done. So it will be nice to meet others with interests like mine.
