It is finally official. I am getting married. We have been engage for a while, but now the invites have been send out. We are having a fairytale wedding, and asked all our guests to wear fairytale costumes.

Yesterday my and Christian (My husband to be) went to Horsens Midieval Festival. We had great fun, and found somethings for Christian to wear at the wedding.

A striking fur, that makes him look just like a real viking king.

I am very inspiered by love at the momment.

But I also made one Autumn inspiered piece.

Soon all the trees here in Denmark will look like this. I love autumn and the beautiful colours it brings.

I have been teaching the fairies of the humans religions. Denmark is a christian country, so they where very intrested in what sort of magic christians used. The fairies really doesn't understand humans can't do magic. but I told them that some people belive that the symbol of the cross protects them. So they asked me to make a cross, so that they could see this strong protection symbol. And I made this necklace.The fairies says they can't feel any powers coming from the cross, but I told them it's a matter of belief...

There is an old story among the fairies, that the moon used to be a fairy princess. She fell in love with a human prince. But it is illegal for fairies to be seen by humans, but she could not help herself, and one day revealed herself to him. But he was not a good hearted prince and did not want the fairy princess. Her heart broke, and to punish herself for her stupid mistake, she flew up on the sky, and only came out when the sun went down. There she glowed every night, to give guidance to everyone on earth. The fairy princess' father morned his daughter and decided that little lights where to be put up on the sky every night, to keep his daughter company, and so it has been ever since.

Butterflies are one of the fairies favorite animals. The young fairy children gets flying lessons from the butterflies and they live closely together with the fairies. One of my favorite butterflies wears purple and blue colours, I tried to catch it in this pendant.
