About Me: 29 years of age, I am a writer/author with one published novel on the market and looking for a new publisher for several new projects. I'm a wife and mother as well. Writing is one of many passions that I have. I also love music, art, and performance arts. I am also a paranormal investigator who has been in the field off and on for more than 15 years.
Music: I enjoy all types of music. However, I have a soft spot for classical music. More often you can find me listening to harder rock in the alternative variety. I am also into industrial music. It is really all very dependent on my mood.
Movies: LOTR, Spiderwick Chronicles, Tomb Raider, The NeverEnding Story, many others..

Likes: open minded people, massages, curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee, rainy days, spring time, the scent of lavender, fresh bread, hearing my stepdaughter laugh, having my husband home and seeing him smile, the smell of a coffee shop when they are brewing up the java,
Dislikes: closed minds, completely negative people, invasions of privacy, dealing with unpleasantries, money (even though it is a necessary evil at this point), greed, knowing that so many are going cold and hungry with nowhere to go.
Hobbies: yoga, meditation, writing, gardening, spiritual practices, cooking, decorating, baking, painting, travel, spending time with my husband, museums, old houses, history, reading, making my own herbal teas,
Vices: Dr. Pepper and coffee, good pens (I'm afraid I can be a bit of a cleptomaniac when in banks etc), music, chocolate, conversation with good friends and blogging. I tend to hold a grudge for major things that happen in life.
Virtues: Generally being a good person and treating people like I would want to be treated until I'm crossed and then I can be a real pain. My creativity, attentiveness, my optimism, and my ability to think quickly and not panic in a crisis.
Heroes: My husband and those who have stuck by my side through the tough times.
