When I left Surrey, I was sad to leave my magical woodland. However yesterday I found another one. Chatelherault Country Estate is beautiful and full of history. We headed straight for the woodland. There were lots of twists and turns. Water flowing from the river, lots of ancient oaks, beech and pine trees not to mention many more. Magic was really in the air. I will return on a regular basis. Its a home the faeries surely love. It healed my soul so much. I had a fantastic day. It also helped that the sun was shining with his hat on ;-) The photo's don't really do it justice but they give you an idea.

I have a friend who used to live near there for about 20 years and she once took me to have a look around, but she wasn't well that day (she has M.E.) so we didn't stay long. we always said that we'd go back but she moved to Edinburgh so we still haven't been :/ i do remember a rather embarrasing photo she took of me flying a kids kite surrounded by daffodils there though LOL.
