    Bailey is in the House

    Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 04:38 AM [General]

Well..... Oh my God, I am so tired. Loving every second. But so so tired. I picked him up on Saturday at 11 45am. When we got home he sniffed some of the garden and came over to me crying wanting cuddles. He picks things up so quickly and is doing so so well. He loves looking in the mirror and playing with his reflection. He has a thing for my feet and attaches himself while I am walking anywhere. He always falls asleep on me but will then go to his bed. Very sharp teeth on my toes. His first day and he recognised I was his new mummy. He has settled in better than I could have hoped for.

He visited the vet yesterday and all went well. He will have his first jab on Monday then again a 12 weeks. Then a week after that we can go for a wee walk. He is 8 weeks old at the moment. The only reason I can get to the computer now is because he is a having a nice long nap. He has met all the family now. Hooch (boy dog) has taken him under his wing and plays a daddy role. Meg who I thought would be the best is scared of him and resents him taking over, although we still give the other dogs as much attention. Emmy. Well she isn't sure and has sworn at him a few times if he has got too close.

Having said that Bailey had just woken up so we went out for a wee and Emmy came along. She is still wary but was much better with him. Fingers crossed. Well now he is awake, I have to go. I will put more pictures up when I can. Within the first 2 days I had taken 80 pictures! Ok I got carried away. I love him more than anything. He is my world. My knight in shining armour.

Will keep you posted lots of love to all x x x

    Puppy Time

    Sunday, June 29, 2008, 06:17 AM [General]

Hi there! Now I need some help from all of you. I am picking my puppy up on Saturday 5th July. He is gorgeous and you can see some photo's of him in my pictures. He is an English Cocker Spaniel light blue roan pup. His Kennel Club name is "Silver Knight", which is quite appropriate. The best name so far is Bailey. That name is linked to castles which can go with Knight. However I thought some of you clever people may have some suggestions. I may use it as a middle name I don't know. Any thoughts?

Since I was putting pictures up of him I didn't want to leave out the other dogs in the family. So here is a little introduction.Emmy is the Greyhound. She is 6 years old and belongs to my Mum. She is an ex-racer and the alpha girl. Greyhounds are not allowed to play, just race. She copies the other dogs and has slowly got the idea. However she has also started copying Hooch, and now **** her leg. Which is funny as she wobbles about on 3. She talks to you constantly and will soon whine if you stop stroking her. She is very vocal with her whines.

Meg is the Doberman x Collie. She is 6 years old and belongs to my sister Lindsay. She is also a rescue. She is the biggest softie and loves cuddles and sits as closley to you as possible. She is well behaved and has been with us the longest. She is a very maternal dog and looks after everything (except her toys which she takes apart). She also still sucks her bed and loves to bury herself in yours.

Then there is Hooch, who is the most recent. He is Golden Retriever x Red Setter. He is a rescue dog. He had been on the street and taken in to a rescue centre. No one wanted him as they thought he was too old. We think he is about 7. He belongs to my niece, Becky as she saw him and fell in love. He is a very good looking boy and seems in a relationship with Meg as they are always kissing. Emmy gets jealous and barks at them as she hates feeling left out of anything. Meg and Hooch have taught her to play but she does get it wrong sometimes, bless her.

Then with my other sister AmyJane, there is Sam who is a Black lab and Kiera who is Westie. Sam is 16 and very good for her age. She is now completely deaf and her hind legs aren't so good. She is the biggest wuss and most gentle creatue you could ever come across. Kiera however is only 2 and bosses her about. She loves being centre of attention and tries to push poor Sam out at times. Sam lets her get away with it knowing she can just walk over her whenever she wants. Kiera yaps at everything including the moon , cows a feather. You name it. Yes she is a very brave girl. She also has a crush on Hooch. This is our doggy family.

    Enchanted woods

    Tuesday, May 6, 2008, 04:36 AM [General]

When I left Surrey, I was sad to leave my magical woodland. However yesterday I found another one. Chatelherault Country Estate is beautiful and full of history. We headed straight for the woodland. There were lots of twists and turns. Water flowing from the river, lots of ancient oaks, beech and pine trees not to mention many more. Magic was really in the air. I will return on a regular basis. Its a home the faeries surely love. It healed my soul so much. I had a fantastic day. It also helped that the sun was shining with his hat on ;-) The photo's don't really do it justice but they give you an idea.

Love and faerie blessings to all x x x

    Home again

    Wednesday, April 30, 2008, 03:22 AM [General]

Yes at last I am home again. My room is almost there. Faeries have taken over everywhere. I haven't had a room to do with as I wish for a very long time and its great!!! I will put some pictures up. Remember it isn't quite finished yet. My wings still need to be put up.  I have beautiful scenery around me. Loch's, hills, waterfalls and long open greens.

I have a blue tit called Charlie who keeps trying to come into the room. He keeps waiting outseide the window and tries to fly in (luckily feet first). He has now made a home right outside and is busy making it cosy. Although he still tries to come in. I will also try and get him to stay still long enough to pose for me ;-)

I hope everyone enjoys their Beltane celebrations and the faeries bless you with happy wishes.

    Moving House

    Friday, April 11, 2008, 10:34 AM [General]

Well, one week to go and then I move back to Scotland. I am nervous, excited, relieved, over whelmed - you name it and then some. I am so looking forward to being back with the family. At the moment I am surrounded by boxes. Getting there though. Once I am settled I plan on learning how to swim or at least float. I want to take up riding too. It is good to try these things and I have always wanted to learn. Now is the time. I will carry on the boxing aswell. But most importantly I can get back regular chats with the faerie folk again. I also want to look into travelling around placed like Thailand, India, Cambodia etc. I might just end up doing Thailand for a few months but there is so much to see. Anyone got any recomendations?

    Wish me luck ! ;-)
