    Syncronicity

Blood red liquid fills the head with all that bubbles up.

    The surface reveals the intrigue.

    The water reveals the heart.

The message is clear and yet time stops and then there is nothing.

    Move forward.

    Move.

    Forward.

    Doing what?

    Stop thinking.

    And do what?

    Move forward.

Just keep driving, and don't turn around.

    And don't forget.

    Don't give up.

    Move forward.

Something will happen and that will be a defining moment.

The quiet embrace of an Angel has me thinking,

Maybe if I opened my wings. My landing would be softer.

    Trust

Friday, April 25, 2008, 08:24 AM CST [General]

    Conversations with my inner guide.

I wrote this a while back but found it to be very empowering. So I thought I would share it with you all.

A really terrific way to start the morning!

    "Speak to me of Trust"

To trust in oneself is to acknowledge your own power and possibilities. It is self acknowledgement and self validation. To trust in yourself is to believe. To know that you have within you twhat everyone has within them. The power to live into your destiny. Your fullest potentioa. If you can train your mind to trust in yourself, discipline yourself to quiet the inner critic, you will be able to move forward beyond your safety zone and into the next realm of your life.

You should calm your mind and heart. This need to know and do everything now is exhausting and counter productive s it opens the door for self doubt. Trust in the process of things.

All for now but there is an entire notebook full of this stuff!

You are welcome to please pass this along.

Just add the byline at the bottom!

    It's looking good!

Friday, April 25, 2008, 07:50 AM CST [General]

I will be discussing the package for Faeriecon this Tuesday with the producer. I am hopeful it will turn out to be very fruifull for the costs. Looks like there are 3 pretty serious interests at this point. So there may be a full booth but there is not final commitment yet.

So I will be needing final commitment absolute yay or nay by next Friday. That doesn't mean all the cash, only a deposit. e-mail me privately to let me know you are serious and want full details on what's up and I can get that to you when I get back in town and we can solidify things.

One of the current artists is an iffy cuz they are already commited so things would need to be changed. So there is still a possible opening. But I need to know asap!!

Let me know as soon as you can!

Want to go to Faeriecon with me?

Tuesday, April 22, 2008, 09:54 AM CST [General]

    Hey,
Here's a bit more info on the details of Faeriecon that I thought would help the artists make some determining conclusions.

It's pretty expensive. But not as expensive as say Comic Con or even INATS and the cool thing is...you have over 7000 prequalified buyers. They are ALL there because they love faeries! Plus it's a convention so they aren't there to listen to the bands or party, they are there to SHOP! That's different than the outside venues where there are alot of folks just there to spread the love and listen to the bands.

Down side? We are competing with the biggest guns in the industry for the people's money.

I have to tell you, Alan Lee, the illustrator and designer for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy-movie, will be there so between him, and Brian and Wendy Froud (I think they'll be there) it is going to be higher than 7000 this year.

So at INATS I have paid $950 for a half a booth for 1500 attendees for 3 days. That's a total of 4500 attendees total. Not really alot I don't think.

Faeriecon is prequalified faerie buffs. With free carpet! 2.5 days over 6000 attendees and if we manage to get a pavillion, each artist will get a 10x10 booth for $625. Plus a crap load of online exposure. You'd need to rent tables too plus include a room and flight etc...believe me it adds up.

The masquerade balls are amazing and some of the best music I've ever experienced. I love Woodland and Qntal. They are both on my front page of friends.

I think I'm going to bulletin this.

But you'll get to meet people like Jasmine Beckette Griffith, Jessica Galbreth, Me...grin...

Brian Froud, Alan Lee and TONS of other artists that you'll recongize.

So please consider it. I think it will be a killer year.
People aren't looking so much for stuff anymore. They want an experience. And if they have the stuff to remember the experience, there is a better shot of buying.

Here's the link if you are interested.

Let me know if you want in!

Abstracts and Spirit Art up for Sale (Affordable!)

Tuesday, April 8, 2008, 07:49 PM CST [General]

Spirit and Abstract works up for sale (affordable)
Well, the time has come. I have reproduced some of my first series of abstracts and spirit art.

I call this my ***Tax Refund and Rebate*** extravaganza.

I'm selling them on ebay. Not for discounted prices like the first few originals though. Sorry. They are pretty fixed.

But they are still great prices.

    These images are:
Proffessionally printed as museum quality canvas giclees. Not "in home" printing. They are limited edition, each hand touched with metalics and acrylics to give them the "original" feel.

They are custom matted to fit a 14x11 frame and hand signed.

Best of all, the price rocks!

The starting price is $60 and buy now is $75.

Go to this link and they will all pop up. Or type in Lisa Steinke under search.

    http://search. ebay. com/search/search. dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=lisa+steinke

You are looking at images like "Forbidden Fruit" and "The Reveal" the Desert Shaman.

    9 total.

    Well, it's all there.

Go take a peek and with the refunds and rebates coming this is a great time!
