First, I must apologise for being absent for quite a while...life's like that sometimes, and this site isn't the easiest for me to sign in to - I usually get error messages and blank pages...

But I have been keeping busy.  The latest arrivals are Dragons.  Nine hatched recently, and I'm expecting another two hatchings of nine each soon. 

These are special Dragons - but all Dragons are special... 

Each of these young Dragons has a name and a gemstone Treasure.  As they were hatched about three weeks ago, they are ready to move to new homes now.  Managing nine hatchling Dragons is no easy thing !  This hatching includes dragons of Air, Fire and Water and also an albino.  A very special home is required for her - her name is Bronwen.

As it's freezing cold here, I'm off to the kitchen to make coffee.

I have more new artwork...sixteen Egyptian style ACEOs already finished, and a small Egyptian acrylic painting on its way.  ACEOs are fun to paint, but time consuming to photograph for my Etsy shop !

It's a lovely sunny day here, and I've been indoors all day - keeping an eye on two post-op rescue dogs, and photographing those ACEOs !

I've finally found the time to get some photos of my new creations !
I have a selection of Goddess and Faery Goddess pendants, made from Terracotta clay, some set with gemstones, some set with recycled glass and ceramic tiles.  A few are already in my Etsy shop (and more may appear there !) but some are being saved until December, when I'll be at a Craft fair in Lancashire.

Also, I've been working with some new gemstones...I'll write more about that next time...

I've been creating again.

A number of terracotta pendants, featuring Art Nouveau style ladies, could be Faeries, could be Goddesses...also, a few other items too.  Eventually, I'll photograph them !

Also, I have some fund raising things to complete for Crufts, as I donate my time and skills to a dog rescue service every year, and create all sorts of things for them to sell to raise funds.

A while ago, I created some special Dragons.  Some decided to hide away at the bottom of boxes after I'd moved house...and I have now found them all !

This kind of sculpture is quite a challenge, and setting the gems is fairly tricky too.  That's probably why I didn't make many of them !

 This lilac and gold one has Amber, Quartz, and for the eye - a facetted Iolite.
Others had Jaspers, Rose Quartz and other gems.

Maybe one day I'll make a few more !
