About Me: Hello! Welcome to my Page!! Pull up a toadstool and sit for awhile! Let me tell ya alittle about me...My name is Sandy...I am a Fantasy Artist, Fairy Artist and I dabble a little with computer graphics. I live here in Ohio with my Husband Jason and my Daughter Sammy, our Dog Memphis and our crazy Cat Salem. I started Drawing when I was alittle girl.

My heart and passion has alway been for Fantasy Art. Even as a child I would find myself outside in the woods of my Grandfathers house on the hunt for Fairy's or any creature. I would sit and doodle little creatures and Fairy's as a kid. Now as an adult I get the chance to see them again and bring them to life for others. Most of my medium was pencil sketches, but now I have started to explore the world of watercolors and find that I am hooked. The more I paint with the watercolors the more I find that spark of life coming to each Fairy. The seed of a far away land of Fairy's and enchanted creatures of all type has been planted, so it is time to watch them grow and come to life with each new painting. That's why my Headline say's, "Today a seed, Tomorrow a flower!", the artwork is the seed to open up to a old but very enchanted world of Fairy's.

    Something to think about!!

Tuesday, April 29, 2008, 10:09 PM EST [General]

This morning I woke up and was sitting in the stillness of my dark Art room and was reflecting on a few things that I want to share with everyone.

Please keep in mind I am no author and was just writing how I was feeling!

    To whom it may Concern.

Here are a few things that I have been thinking about...

I always see people looking for suicide notes and wondering why people kill themselves. If the world was so bad then why tell them. Maybe, to cause some else pain so they to could feel what was felt or is it to get the last word in. Who really know for sure...I think that if people are really serious about taking their own life then. Maybe they should remember that if no care enough when you were alive, do they really think some one would care now that you are dead.
    I wonder....

This world is only full of people who are user's, cheaters, liars, abusers, selfish, mean, uncaring, lowlifes that take someone who has the love of life, a spark of greatness and they destroy it. Only because they don't have it or they can't seem to enjoy life. So they take everyone out...that is what child abusers, molesters, dead beat parents are they taking that tiny soul and make it evil. Or is it possible that we are born evil.
    Then the cycle never ends...

There are only a few who can take the abusers, liars, cheaters, users, mean, uncaring, selfish, lowlifes and learn from all that pain and swear to break the cycle and try with all there inner power to make sure that the next generation stops. There are only a few of us and you know who you are that are taking this quest and are hoping for the best out come possible.
    Is hope and change possible....

But with all things that are great, you still have those other people who try to take your morals, strengths, integrity, trust, love of life, love of nature and all that is good and try to suck that right out of you. They think it is fun to make fun, mock, manipulate, make you feel stupid and do everything to you trying to change your morals, strengths, integrity, trust, love of life, love of nature and all that is good into the world and becoming like them. You know who they are and you tolerate, try to accept, and try to help them see what is good.
But is it really worth it...

With each and every day they will still use, cheat, lie, abuse, not care, only worry about themselves so is it worth your own life. That is why people take their own life; it is because some one took that spark from them. It could have started at a young age and they just kept meeting those life suckers until they reach a breaking point and every ounce of fight was gone. It's not to get the last word in or to have someone hurt as much as they did. It is trying to get our attention that we need to be careful of whom we let in our lives and around our children.
    To stop being so blind...

To me I feel like I have taken on this quest and have been fighting it for thousands of years. I hope and pray everyday that I don't fail, but I know that I will never stop encountering these life suckers. But everyday when I wake up and I look into those Hazel eyes and hear the words I Love You, Mommy! I get armed and ready to fight this battle again. True Love is what makes life worth living and giving of yourself to others and trying to make some ones day a little better just by a smile or saying Hello! Giving from the heart and not expect anything in return. We fail as a society to think that if we do well we should get what we want in return. Well it is not like that to give of love and free will is what brings awards into your life.
To see things differently is it possible...

We fail to think the awards are going to be great too! Just cause you reach out and give a dollar to a homeless person, does not mean you will be blessed with a new car. You could be blessed with a small kiss from your child or your pet coming up beside you and laying their head on your lap. We take so much for granite and before we know it life is over. We are to old and wishing we could have done something more with our lives. Or if you are a life sucker you are regretting the hurt and pain you caused others when you used, cheated, lied, abused, didn't care, was selfish, was mean, molested, took someone morals, strength, love of life, trust and took if all way from them.

Life can be such a paradox...

I guess maybe the true answer to all my thoughts is really just a few simple words I guess.
    Life is funny!!!

We try so hard to be something great, special and just realize we are just who we are and accepting it and being happy with who you are is hard but worth it!

To continue living in the past will not make the future progress!

Holding on to life suckers is not worth losing your own spark of love and inner peace!

To take baby steps like we where taught is better than taking giant leaps off a cliff!

To want to be some else is natural, but to truly love your self is the greatest gift!

To wake up each day and want to see the sun and feel it on your skin is living!!!

To take a big breath and smile and to think of all the blessings and wonderful things in life!!

To be happy to be alive and taking the time to enjoy it!!!

I love what you wrote for your status, about how an Artist dips his brush in his own soul... that is really very profound, and so very, very accurate!! Peace and Blessings!!
