Hey, I remembered my login over here!

Wednesday, March 4, 2009, 08:53 PM AKST [General]

I have been outrageously busy, but had to drop back by and at least update my journal...

Since last I blogged here, I finished a few pieces of artwork:

(The last is just an excerpt of a bigger piece that I will be publishing later. In color, with luck!)

In other exciting news, Volume 2 of the EMG-Zine anthology is out! (And, is GORGEOUS. I'm so happy with it. :))

Woo! Click on the cover image to go to the ordering page!

Been a while since I blogged here - I've been busy with everyone else's art, and a little bit with my own, too. Hopefully I can sit down for some quality time with the scanner and share it shortly. Cross your fingers for me!

    May updates...

Thursday, May 1, 2008, 09:24 AM AKST [General]

    Happy May Day!

A new issue of EMG-Zine is up, and it's a doozy. Licensing tips from Selina Fenech, An intro to LARP from Lorna, plus a fistful of incredible columns from our talented staff. I know a lot of people have been concerned recently about the Orphan Works issue, and I have an in-depth column about the issue as well, looking at the history and actual bill. EMG-Zine

This is some artwork I did for this issue, since our theme was 'trains,' and folks had some trouble coming up with art for the gallery for that theme! Note, today is the last day to submit 'Egypt'-themed work for June, and our July theme is 'The Senses.' Art submission page

My big announcments are: The EMG giftshop is open for submissions! But ONLY for April and May! http://ellenmilliongraphics.com/fantasyart/artists.php

This means new work will be going up regularly at the giftshop for a while!

    And, there's a new issue of EMG-Zine: http://emg-zine.com

A bit of a big image, but I want you to appreciate the amount of detail in this piece! It's a big one (for me) - 14 x 20 inches. My fingers hurt.
