About Me: Oh, geeze...Me, um, well, I am currently a full time artist and gardener...I work out of my house and have a small studio in my bedroom...I am a huge animal lover (two cats and a dog, tons of birds and wildlife on my land that I am a surrogate mother to)...I like fantasy a lot, and dark stuff. I have this weird obsession with zombies. I am the oldest of three girls and a Capricorn. I'll think of more later and update again...It's hard for me to talk about myself, I guess.
Music: Anything metal, 80s rock, hip hop, rap, some punk...I like oldies a lot, I pretty much like everything, even country.
Movies: Zombie movies, especially the bad ones (but NOT Zombie Nation. This is the lamest movie ever made and if you've never seen it, dont bother!) Some of my PERSONAL favorites are A Clockwork Orange, American History X, The Rock, Con Air, the olde version of Willy Wonka...
TV: Not too much, but...Robot Chicken, The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, Axe Men, Intervention, Reno 911, and South Park.
Books: Lets go with authors on this one...Roald Dahl, Dr. Suess, JRR Tolkien of course, Clive Barker, Stephen King, Shakespeare (King Lear is my fav), Irvine Welsh, Chuck Palanuik...
Hobbies: Gardening and art (also what I make a living doind so it works out nicely), spending time in the woods, reading, sewing, playing with animals, keeping myself out of trouble (a good hobbie to have)
Vices: Smoking and the occasional drinking (whiskey and scotch), not calling my friends back right away, sometimes I bite my nails, and I definitely eat WAY too much chocolate.
Virtues: I am extremely patient (to a fault). I listen well, I learn fast, I am willing, determined, and have pretty descent self esteem, I suppose.
Heroes: My mum, my stepmum, pretty much anyone who would risk their lives to save another...

I got art supplies yay!!! Yup, I got new canvas pads, linoleum cutting blocks (for prints and raised papers...), some new grey pens (finally!) and some other random stuff...Oh! New paint! LOL. I'm like a kid in a candy store... So, I have finally put up three different sets of bookplates...Ten bookplates with 5 different images (2 of each) per set...for only $3.50, free shipping!! Well, for the time being anyhow. After my internet duties, I am sure to end up back at my desk sketching out ideas. I am also working on a new set of resin bookmarks, as most of the ones I had in there have sold...:) I am feeling a serious pull away from the collage and towards more painting...But I still have a lot of pieces already made. So no worries...Plus I can always be commissioned! But for those of you who thrive on the mixed media, get while the getting's good. There. Fair warning. So, I suppose that is about it for now. Well, it seems to be mermaid madness in my studio...I have a BUNCH of mermaids listed on eBay, up for three day auctions; most of them are starting at just 99 cents, so bid before they are all gone! I suppose I will have to start thinking about craft fairs soon with all this stuff lying around. In the next few days I will hopefully have a bunch of never before seen pieces to share with you all...It is a series of larger works that I am STILL working on hanging at a local cafe. :| I will be sure to unveil them as a complete show, together in a slideshow or some such... Hello All! I am in the much needed process of cleaning out and organizing my studio, so I am holding a "Summer Sale" in my Etsy store from now until I'm not sure. Probably a few weeks. Anyhoo, all ACEOs are now priced at $10 (some are less!) and many of my larger pieces have been significantly marked down. I am desperate for room!!
