While I do not excel in painting, sculplting, or drawing like so many of the incredible artists on Enchanted Folk, I have always had a passion for arts and crafts.  I love decorating, sewing, arranging altars, making wreaths, fashioning jewellery, doing decoupage, etching glass, crafting candles, and many other creative things.

For several years now I have greatly enjoyed doing cross stitch and needlepoint projects, which usually have a fantasy or pagan theme such as faeries, mermaids, witches, goddesses, Celtic knotwork, Waterhouse images, seasonal and nature themes etc.  While I enjoy making a traditional picture to be hung on the wall, I also like stitching towels, bookmarks, pillows, footstools, book covers, tote bags, coasters, sachets, and all sorts of magickal goodies for my home.

I decided to start the Enchanted Needles group because I would love to to see pictures of the wonderful projects others have been crafting, in addition to sharing ideas, encouragement, and inspiration with other needleworkers.  If the group is interested I would also love to organize some pattern swaps and gift exchanges.

    I'm looking forward to it!

    Love and light,

    Shayleah :)

Shayleah! This is a wonderful idea :o) Makes me want to finish up my Wolves cross stitch.

I'm so glad you've begun such a creative online endeavor for us stitchers. It will be lots of fun.

    Thank You Sweet Friend,

    Monica
