About This Group

Open to everyone, though directed to the Enchanted Folk who reside in Pennsylvania, this group is a place to plan and implement the Merry Meets -- live get-togethers -- as described by Be on the front page of the Enchanted Folk Website. I just picked up the ball and ran with it because it's a great idea!

    Merry Meet at Spoutwood?

Sunday, April 26, 2009, 04:57 PM EST [General]

If you are attending the Spoutwood Fairy Festival, be sure to drop by Giovanna Adams booth at 2:00 PM -- there will be a merry meet there every day of the festival! I can't promise to be there unless I'm assured of a ride (I really need to find some sort of inexpensive personal transportation for long distances!), but there's always the possibility...

Those who Do attend -- please report on the merry meet, who showed up, what was discussed, for all those who couldn't get there...

Next Pennsylvania Merry Meet -- Where and When?

Thursday, October 16, 2008, 09:51 AM EST [General]

I'm thinking, "Let's keep this one simple!" So how about just meeting up at a coffee shop for conversation, sharing of current projects, and some planning for the following Merry Meet? I'd like for the site to be centrally located, and checking the map of the state says that would be in the State College area. Anyone from that part of the state willing to step up and find a venue where we could meet? And how about a consensus of date and time from the membership? Post in this thread, please -- that way, all the discussion and eventual final plans will be in one place...

ENCHANTED FOLK MERRY MEET at FAERIECON!

Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 09:39 PM EST [General]
    Posted By: RdeHwyll

The second Faeriecon International will be held in Philadelphia on October 10th, 11th, and 12th of this year, and since it is so well attended (Over 7000 people last year), I'm thinking this might well be a great place to hold a Merry Meet for members of Enchanted Folk. My plans are to attend FaerieCon carrying a sign with the EF Logo and lettering to the effect of "Enchanted Folk Merry Meet -- HERE!!!" in order to find other members of Enchanted Folk at the Con... so be on the lookout for me! Then we can walkabout and gather more and more until we're a romp of Trooping Fae! (Grin!)
