Greetings new friends, i am rather excited about this gathering place and just thought it would be wonderful to have a place to share pictures of your skin art or maybe we will end up with some artists that like to offer flash as well. I am going into this very novice but i firmly belive that the best way to do some things is just to do it. unlike my tattoo that i spent about three years sitting with a gift certificate before i could finally decide on my idea and make my way to the shop, well actually I held it for a year before I went to the shop with my "Good Faeries, Bad Faeries" book with all of my little post its and had them start working with me on the design. Here I just think would be a good place to share our stories of our lifetime love for the enchanted. As i browsed through the photos here i was very impressed by the show of appreciaion for our bodies and our skin art. I am sure many of you have commemorated special people in your life with enchanted skin art and this would serve as a great way to tell the stories of the ones you loved enough to add to your skin in a very unique and special way.

Thank you and working together this will be very interesting. i welcome any comments or suggestions as i am just getting aquainted with the coding here and will be getting my own page up to par in the next day or two

What a lovely idea for a group!! :) I will have to post some of my work here soon. I have one tatt on my back, as of right now. I have several tattoo/flash designs on my page...I really really really want to go to tattoo school and learn how to put these on skin! :) Plus....I'm working on developing my new art style. It's fantasy art in a tattoo style..... :) Feel free to check out my photos! :)

Truly a wonderful idea -- but need we limit ourselves to personal 'permanent' decor? I am unable to allow ink beneath the skin due to an unusual allergy (I found out the hard way -- Now I am now scarred, rather than carrying my desired design), and so make use of body paints instead. Most times I use such are at festivals, but i have made use of thwe temporary coloration in other instances. So... perhaps discussion about this manner of personal decor as well?

Got a snake on my right arm and a property patch on my butt, not exactly fairy material. Your piece is beautiful, I can only show off 50% of mine. So if you do another, don't be like me, put it where the sun does shine. By branding your self you expose to the world what's in side. In my case I gave myself, with one tatoo, a permanate reminder of a time I will never relive, and with the other the name for whom that part of me is owned, and always will. Yours on it's own speaks of peace and beauty I'm sure it has a deeper meaning to you, but if not it still manages to say that which poets have always tried to say.
