Enchantress

    Beaded daisy dream.

    Sunday, December 30, 2007, 11:51 AM [General]

I woke up this morning thinking about a certain beading pattern that looks like little flowers. It's done with seed beads. I used to make them when I was a teenager. I wonder why that suddenly popped into my head. I dreamed I had one on my desk that needed finishing.

So I found the directions on line if you are curious. http://www.sandradhalpenny.com/5589.html

    Bought myself a present

    Wednesday, December 26, 2007, 10:12 PM [General]

In the hopes of having a more prosperous life, I just bought myself two domain names for my birthday on Jan. 3.

I just ordered the names zenchantress.com and luckyharper.com. The first one will be my hypnosis site and the 2nd will be my psychic mediumship site. Of course it will be 24 hours before either of them shows up, and then I'll have to learn to use the website building package I bought from my new web host. I am familiar with Front Page but evidently it's becoming more and more obsolete, so it's time to learn a new program.

And then the yarn fairy smote me.

    Tuesday, December 25, 2007, 09:37 PM [General]

You've all heard of the universal principal that like attracts like I bet. Well, Miss Queen of Yarn just inherited a boatload of yarn from a crocheter that just gave up crocheting. She gave me some on Dec. 15 and I thought that was all of it. But we went to her house today and she had at least that much and more all ready for me to take home. Egads! Where am I going to store it all until I have a chance to use it? My poor boyfriend. He's beginning to wish I was into collecting miniatures or dust bunnies.

Has this psychic experience happened to you?

    Wednesday, December 19, 2007, 06:17 PM [General]

Sometimes when I'm watching TV I will know what the person will say before they say it.

Two recent examples follow. In one I was watching Tyra on America's Next Top Model. She was calling  off the list of 7 remaining models. I hadn't been following this season, so I didn't know the names of the models. But each time Tyra would say "And the next finalist is..." I would say the name, and in almost every case I was right. I get it wrong if it's an unusual name; all I can say in the closest name to that one. Like instead of Kanesha, I might get Kathy.

Then today I was watching Sylvia Browne on Montel. She was just telling a lady she had two ghosts. So Sylvia says, "The little girl ghost is named Sally." And instantly I think, "It's Sally Anne actually." So then Sylvia starts to talk, and before she gets the sentence out, I say, "And the other ghost is Jason." And then she says, "And the other ghost is Jason."

There was also a lady on that was frightened because 'evil spirits were shaking her bed every night right as she started to fall asleep." She was so scared she was afraid to stay in her apt.

So I said, "It's you doing that. When your spirit leaves you body to astral project, it shakes the bed." So then a few minutes later Sylvia says the same thing I just said, not word for word, but the same thoughts on astral projection.

That reminds me that years ago I was walking through a mall. Suddenly the name Keisha pops into my head. I start to laugh because my sister has a dog named Keisha, and why on earth would I think of that. Then suddenly this black lady goes running by yelling out Keisha, Keisha, where are you?" She'd lost her little girl. The girl comes running from the other direction. But I got a good laugh out of that one.

    The Painting and the Pendulum

    Monday, December 17, 2007, 01:19 PM [General]

For those of you that have been to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, you'll know what a maze of buildings and rooms it is.

When we got to the street level there was a poster on a pillar of a painting of a woman gazing at a candle. My daughter said how much she'd really like to see that painting.

Eventually after viewing two other buildings we arrived at the main collection. But after wandering through five or six rooms it became obvious that we might never find the painting at all. By then I was two rooms ahead of my daughter.

So it occurred to me I could use my pendulum to find the painting. Only I didn't have one with me. So I took off my simple  beaded necklace and decided it would do in a pinch.

First I visualized the painting in my mind's eye.

Here are the questions I asked the pendulum.

    1. Is it in this room? No

Pretty much a given as I'd already looked around that room.

    2. Is it in the room I am facing? No

So I pivoted to the left.

    3. Is it in the room in front of me? No

    4. Is the room in front of me at least in the right direction to find the painting?

So I walked into the next room and sure enough the painting wasn't in there. But I felt a strong urge to turn to the right. So I pivot around. Directly in front of me are 3 arches to walk through...and ahead of them, centered on the wall directly in my line of vision, was the painting.

I don't think I could have found it that fast even if a guide walked me directly to it.

And I'm sure the security guards wondered why this crazy lady holding a necklace was standing there grinning from ear to ear.

So I went back and got my daughter.

After we walked through many rooms, I realized just how amazing it was to find the needle in the haystack. We never did see all the rooms. And after we got home I found out there was a 3rd level in the museum as well. That painting could have been anywhere.

You can't take photos in the museum but as we were leaving I tried to get a photo of the poster. Unfortunately my camera shutter was stuck so I couldn't get a good shot.

The painting is of the Madonna when she is pregnant. She has a skull resting on her lap. Silly me didn't write down the name or artist. And doing a websearch for Madonna painting is going to have 1000's of hits.
