    Fairy-Box Charity Book

Saturday, February 16, 2008, 06:06 PM GMT [General]

    Well Met Faerie Friends!

This is just a quick post to draw attention (for those of you who havn't yet seen it) to a wonderful idea from Rdehwyll, to create a "coffee table" book full of Enchanted Fae contributions to raise money for Fairy Box,a national children's Charity that helps to support children in Hospital.

I'm not great with computers so appologies if there is a shorter way to write this link:

    http://members.enchantedfolk.com/www.geocities.comrdehwyllthe_fair_folk_welcome/blog/

Above is where you can find details for the project and Below is a link to the Fairy Box if you'd like to learn more about the charity:

Please take a look at this and if it's something you are interested in then please feel free to copy & paste this blog so we can spread the word through Enchanted Folk.

    Many thanks & Faerie Blessings

    Spring Greeting!

Friday, February 8, 2008, 11:35 AM GMT [General]

    Hello Faerie Friends everywhere,

Thought I'd leave a new blog to replace the old as it's Spring, a time for dusting things off & waking things up from their Winter slumber!

I know it's only February but the Daffodils are opening here & the woodpecker was busy tapping away outside my bedroom window this morning. My hayfever has also kicked in so Spring has definately arrived, bringing with it some beautiful hazy sunshine (though I still had to de-igloo the car this morning!).

I hope everyone feels as energised by the new season as I do, I'm on a creative flow at the moment & can't seem to get my new projects out fast enough!

I was very lucky to be asked to make a Faerie Crown for an enchanting project by the very talented Charlotte Bird (check out her work: www.enchantedfolk.com/fairyphotographsandart) which I can't wait to see the pictures of!

I've also been busy doing commissions for Tattoo designs (requested via my website: www.faereality.co.uk), and tried my hand at sculpting my 1st (& 2nd!) Faerie dolls under the instruction of the awe inspiring Wendy Froud's DVD "creating a faerie figure" found on www.worldoffroud.com.

Now I'm making jewellery with my lovely Daughter & working on some new Faerie Crown ideas with the pretty new beads we just bought!

None of my crafts are shown on here or my website yet, but I am in the process of sorting them out so if you're interested in that sort of thing then check back soon!

Well that's it for now, my beads (& Daughter!) are calling me! Got more Faerie creations to explore and discover.

    Faerie Blessings,

    Amanda
