    I am so sad to see this site doesn't seem to be very active. I used to love it here, it was great when we were all more active here.

    I admit I have got sucked into Facebook, I really like it for networking with artists. I belong to a few art and faerie groups there.

    My website has had a few changes, and I will be starting to blog on there, when I do I will start adding posts on here to. It would be great if more people would start using Enchanted Folk again.

    Hi Sarah, I am so happy to see you here! I wish all the folks who were once here would come back! I am "on" facebook, but I seldom check in there. Only to see what you and my favorite folks from here are doing there. Facebook feels so corporate, exactly what Enchanted Folk was not! There are a lot of folks that used to be here that are sad that this site is not as active. And when I visit, I see that old regulars do check in but don't post as they once did. There are also new folks that stop by for awhile who are good artists, but then they don't get any feedback and eventually drift away. Be's vision of living in the magic is still as real as ever, and I wish we could make her vision come true. So happy to see you here :) Love and all good wishes! Ailynari xxx

    I just joined this site a few weeks ago and immediately noticed this lack of participation. It is so sad because I had hoped for more. I will keep checking in as well just in case the faeries happen to start pinching people to wake them up. I don't have a face book account but it's looking like if I want to share with other enchanted folks I may have to bite the bullet and join. Too sad. But hey, you did get 2 whole comments...that's a start.

    It's been a while!!

    It has been a while since I properly updated here.

    Last October I went to the Avalon Faerie Ball & Fayre in Glastonbury. I went with my good friend John :)

    While there I got to see some of my favourite artists and also got to meet the lovely Jasmine Becket-Griffith. I also met three of my online faerie art friends, it was so nice to meet them :)

    As well as going to the ball and fayre we also looked round Glastonbury. We went to the Tor and The Chalice Well Gardens.

    Glastonbury is such a magical and special place, I recommend visiting if you ever get the chance.

    Last year I donated art to several auctions to raise money for good causes. It is nice to be able to do something to help others.

     

     

    Last year I also set up my new website

    This year I have finished three ACEO's. An ACEO is a piece of art that measures approximately 2.5" x 3.5".

    I think my art is improving and I am planning on painting some larger more complex pieces this year.

    I have ordered a new printer :) I am hoping to open my Etsy shop in a few months :)

    The best place to see all my art and work in progress is my facebook page.

    Now I am going to go and work on my blue faerie painting :) Feel free to look at the progress pics on my Facebook page :)
