I am so sad to see this site doesn't seem to be very active. I used to love it here, it was great when we were all more active here.

I admit I have got sucked into Facebook, I really like it for networking with artists. I belong to a few art and faerie groups there.

My website has had a few changes, and I will be starting to blog on there, when I do I will start adding posts on here to. It would be great if more people would start using Enchanted Folk again.

It has been a while since I properly updated here.

Last October I went to the Avalon Faerie Ball & Fayre in Glastonbury. I went with my good friend John :)

While there I got to see some of my favourite artists and also got to meet the lovely Jasmine Becket-Griffith. I also met three of my online faerie art friends, it was so nice to meet them :)

As well as going to the ball and fayre we also looked round Glastonbury. We went to the Tor and The Chalice Well Gardens.

Glastonbury is such a magical and special place, I recommend visiting if you ever get the chance.

Last year I donated art to several auctions to raise money for good causes. It is nice to be able to do something to help others.

Last year I also set up my new website

This year I have finished three ACEO's. An ACEO is a piece of art that measures approximately 2.5" x 3.5".

I think my art is improving and I am planning on painting some larger more complex pieces this year.

I have ordered a new printer :) I am hoping to open my Etsy shop in a few months :)

On Tuesday I put some of my painting and photos on display at a local vegetarian cafe. I haven't displayed my art anywhere before so I am quite happy but also a bit nervous in case people think it is rubbish!!

It will be on display for a month and everything apart from one painting is for sale. I am not bothered if my paintings sell, I will be quite happy to keep them especially as I haven't made any prints of them.

I took some photos at the cafe so I will share them with you, the photos I took aren't great but you will get the idea.

Can anyone advise me on the best ways to make adult faerie wings.

I am thinking of possibly trying to make a leather and wire pair and wondered if anyone can give me advice on technique and materials.

I have seen online tutorials for the wire and net ones so I could just make those type, I just thought leather ones would be different!!

Any tips or advice welcome
