    An observation on politics in the USA: Dream researchers have studied the benefits of sharing dreams as a means to make peace between hostile groups--in the Middle East, the Balkans, Africa, Afghanistan, Ireland, gangs in the American ghettos, you name it, it worked amazingly. (And why doesn't this become widespread? Because most people laugh at dreams too much to give them a try.) The one notable exception was Washington DC, USA, during election years. Researchers actually did establish bipartisan dream groups among members of both the house and senate, and three years out of four they throve, people got along great, increased in sympathy towards each other--only to see the amity shatter on leap years. It's a pity.
