    Songs STUCK in my head

Johhny Fedora met Alice Bluebonnet in the window of the department store...

UGH! All I have to do is think about the name "Johnny" and I have that old Disney cartoon spinning non-stop through my head. I'm not even thinking about singing the song and here I am watching the cartoon in my head and singing right along with it.

And now I have " With a Smile and a Song" from Snow White in my head because I thought to myself, " what do I do to get a song out of my head?"

ANYWAY. That was not what I wanted to say. What I wanted to just give a little update on ( ugh...I just added " Give a Little Whistle" to the soundtrack in my head) was my apartment. With the help of my Mother, I am officially moved in and unpacked. When I'm finished decorating the apartment, I'll be sure to post a bunch of pictures, but the overall theme of the decore is faeries. I have glow in the dark plastic faeries dancing all over my house, curtains, posters, and little dolls all over the place. I'm really excited that it's all FINALLY coming together....and looking at my Halloween decorations made me think of  " Grim Grinnin' Ghosts" so now we add that one to the growing list of songs I can't get out of my head...

Yay, I can finally entertain guests  and cook for myself! I can't begin to tell you how much both of those things makes me dance about with glee.

Songs stuck in your head... puts me in mind of the one summer I worked at Disneyland. I was a 'Captain' on the Jungle Cruise Ride, and got really, really, REALLY tired of the scripted bad puns I had to repeat on every turn through the ride. So one time, I decided to ad lib one or two extras... and was pulled off the ride the next day to serve a single six-hour shift at "It's a Small World" as 'punishment duty'.
Needless to say, I never deviated from the script for the rest of my time working the park. Heck, I still wake up some nights with that damned song playing in my head, almost 40 years later...
