Yes I am still walking this earthly plain, in fact been so earthbound this year almost feels like I've been a bit of a recluse, haven't really, just life has centred around my parents, doctors and the secret garden and not much else.
Have had major computer problems, my link with the outside world has been limited. Got internet access on my mobile but that is so limiting too but at least I could keep some form of contact with folk through facebook.
The good news is my computer has now been totally overhauled, slate wiped clean.....fingers crossed!
If this blog posts ok then my next step will be to try and load some photo's next time!!! am I pushing it?
Love Lesley x
PS.........Well it looks like from the preview that it still wont publish it as paragraphed so it reads just as one continuous blurb, some things don't change then! If there is a way of changing this format, someone please let me know....cheers x
Well the allotment was short lived, contaminated with asbestos. The council would only do top clean up and not full remediation so we had to let it go!!! So had a mad couple of weeks trying to off load lots of plants.
I said to my friend Lu either the universe is saying we're not meant to be doing this or there is something better around the corner!
........................................................................................................
My nephew Adam came to stay with me at the beginning of the summer holidays. We got into making miniature gardens great fun, we went out and about including an air show at an air museum and everyone was dressed up 40's style fabulous................
Then my daughter visited with her two children, I tell you in my tiny house a littleone in her walker does not leave alot of room to move around, he he!!but we managed and again made peg doll fairy's with young Kaci (special nanny time)................
Took Belle to the beach one evening, at first she was not having anything to do with the sea. She barked at the little waves, so funny to watch. I threw her ball into the sea, no, she wasn't interested. I then decided to roll up the trousers and wade in, yep that did the trick, after that you couldn't keep her out. She still barked at the waves, the bouy and anything she didn't understand but she was having fun and I just loved watching her running across the wet sand as the sun was going down, for me that was my summer!
..............................................................................................................
At the beginning of September I saw an ad for garden share, so contacted the chap and low and behold me and Lu have been installed in this lovely old victorian walled garden that had seen better days!...............
The family whose garden it is, don't really have a lot of time but they had managed to get the glass house renovated and they also had attempted to grow some veg in a couple of beds but they are busy working family and the veg looked a bit sorry for itself!!!!!
Its quite a project, but have managed to get some winter veg in, totally cleared two more beds and have made a start on forth bed....in between we have also been working on clearing up the glass house, it may have been renovated but the mess from the workmen..............
but we are getting there, we have been gleeming lots of bits and bobs from wood, guttering, piping, to pots, trays, netting.Even managed to gleem some compost too!................
There is a little orchard outside of the walled garden with some old apple and pear tree's, wow what a feast, and those great big ones at the tops of the tree's, yep the ones we can't reach, ha ha!
This time next year we will be a bit more organised and will harvest them too!
The whole site is quite lovely, the drive with the horsechestnut tree's with an abundance of squirrel activity. There is another track that leads to a field which is lined with huge willow tree's and there is a bit of woodland that has yet to be explored!!!!
We call it the Secret Garden
.....................................................................................................................
Its been one of those years, not getting anywhere fast but I think a corner has been turned, must be to do with the Neptune/Jupiter/Chiron conjunction, oh and the stand off with Saturn and Uranus!!!
Well at least I learnt how to make jam from the fruits from my fathers garden.............
Wow, magic, a butterfly is flying around my living room, its gone 12 at night!!!!!
Love and Light
My world has turned upside down again....I'm no longer involved with the rescue farm, I'm not going to point fingers and tell tales just that I have had to put the bag down and walk away!!!!not easy when you have put a lot of time and energy into things including Fairy Day but there it is.............
Somehow, I think it was sort of meant to happen!!! 'Major planetary conjunction and Mercury retrograde phase', because after the initially upset and hurt feelings, things have really turned around.
Well first I had to find somewhere to put all the plants etc that I had started off.....my friend Lu who had just started helping me in the gardens suggested an allotment.....yep 3 weeks down the line, we have one!!!!!we are both excited, been back and fore while the guys with the big machines do some major clearing, there is still some rubbish to clear but its managable now!!!!.........We have just enough time to do a bit more seed sowing too, talk about cutting it fine!!!!!
By not being at the farm, I can finish off some other projects too, just been decorating my parents living/dining room, just got the hall to do now, don't think I would have been in a position to have done this if I had still been at the farm!!!! .......
I think the fairy's were trying to tell me something?
Much love to all

Beltaine already, golly, Summer Solstice is only 7 weeks away, where has the time gone? Can we please stop time for me to get my breath back?.....
Thank you to all those who sent their blessings etc when my mum was in hospital. Well she is well and truly out now, she's had her first real outing into town this week, with the help of my brother, she was getting cabin fever and just wanted out of the house!!!!She has to walk with sticks, she wont entertain a mobility vehicle of any sort!!!thats my mum! Dad, bless him is still pottering along but as soon as he sits down he's off with the fairy's! ha ha! he has a problem with heart, he's been offered a pace maker but he's not interested!!!thats my dad!.......................
The pups have grown loads, Belle has developed a pollen allergy, so I'm trying different things to alleviate her itching, she's losing so much fur too! I'm hoping she might grow out of it! Tess is the bigger of the two and is going to be like her dad, I think Belle will be smaller than her mum which is average size german shepherd. Together they can be a bit of a handful but so funny as they play and chase each other, Meg one of my parents other dogs is always barking at them.....telling them off, usually!.................
Yes back at Margaretta House, the rescue farm. They have just opened up again. I've lost abit of time with regards to the garden but I have planted seeds in the greenhouse and hopefully if I get the help with digging the garden again I will be able to sow seeds by the end of next week, yeh!!!! Today we discovered one of the hens has got 13 little chicks, they are so cute even Lightening and Lashes were intrigued!!! I took a couple of pics but can't find lead to download to PC at the mo!!!!..........
Can't make it to the Merry Meet down south, so I thought we can have a FAIRY DAY on 21st June here at Margaretta House. So if anybody from EF living on the eastern side of the country wants to meet up that would be very nice. We're not talking thousands of fairy's but hope to have a good few through the gates, some of the other childrens events have worked out really well, copeable!!!!
Some workshops, a fairy house trail, magical fairy names, fairy village, fairy picnic, looking for story teller and fairy dancing!!!! any idea's would be useful!..............
I haven't posted for a while but have kept up by diving in every couple of days.....I have a problem with EF site, whereby I have to have two browsers running, what doesn't work in one, works on the other.....mad I know, both say to enable JAVA but it is enabled but for some reason its not responding! it just makes it a pain trying to put anything on, or staying logged in!Hey Ho!............
So 7 weeks to the Solstice, Mercury goes retrograde this week, thats gonna put the cat amongst the pigeons!!!!............
I'm waiting for that moment when I walk down the bottom field which is lined with Hawthorn, that special moment when the air will be filled with her fragrance, the tree's are in flower but when they are totally covered in white flowers, that will be my Beltaine!.... .....
Happy Beltaine.

Its been so nice to read every one's Imbolc blessings. I have not been able to take part in any celebrations this year. I had planned to make some snowflakes from Pooka kitchen crafts, its not easy getting hold of Borax laundry powder these days, had to order top quality grade from chemist!!! ...........................
Then life went upside down, first I lost my land line again, yep Mercury retrograde, and then,.........................
Mum had another fall on Dad's birthday, this time she broke her thigh bone, on top of that whilst she was in theatre she had a mild heart attack and to add insult to injury there is a visitor ban at the hospital due to winter vomiting bug, we have only been able to see her once since she was admitted last Wednesday evening!!!!! she is still waiting for a bed in the coronary ward to become available so they can do more tests, at the moment the hospital is having mega bed shortage problems, but she is stable and getting lots of care and attention!!!.........................
I have been cleaning mum and dad's house and today I made Bara Brith, its a Welsh fruit tea loaf, took some up with fresh laundry for mum, hope that brightens her spirits abit, so I have been Imbolcing but not in the way I would have liked, we had snow too...................
Imbolc Greeting, blessed be, xxx
So sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time. The healing fairies are on their way to you and your parents.
Keep living in the magic and look after yourself.

Something made me get on EF and read the recent blog entries, and there was yours. Wow, you've been a busy gal! Sounds like you have had some good times in the process and a productive Summer. Glad to hear you are hanging in there. I've been so busy I don't know what's going on in my chart or where the Summer went. It's cold here, we've had cold and damp for about a month. I'm tired of the gloom. :) Glad to hear things are working out for you, though.

Just flitting by to wish you and yours much love and faery blessings
Its sad to think there'll be no Fairy Fair at Narborough this year. Lets hope their dream of a permanent site comes true, and then faery fun can happen in Norfolk all year round!
xx
Hi Lesley,
Just dropped by your site to see how you were doing and wow you've been through alot. All those Taurus types you have in your care seem to be having a time of it, and then you too, as a result, I'm sure.
Just wanted to say hang in there. I'm thinking about you. Blessings!

hi ,is that the eco fest at louth? , were going to the myddle earth gathering there, and also the mega moot at mildenhall , shame about the fairy event it was lovely last year, Sam says hi, bb moon-storm.
Hi Lesley,
Thanks for the compliment - I'm always happy when someone likes my Faeries. :) As for my yard, it is smaller than the pictures would indicate. I must shoot the photos carefully to leave out neighbors houses and such. But I am fortunate all the same and am grateful for every bit of nature that I have to enjoy. I feed the birds, squirrels, deer and feral cats and enjoy them all.

Hi Lesley, thanks for the friendship request. I am an astrologer also. I'm not Wiccan this time around but am sure I have been in past lives. I have retrograde Scorpio planets which are said to be indicative of past Wiccan livetimes. :) I've always been drawn to the tools of the trade. Looking forward to knowing you.

Hi Lesley,
Lylith here replying on your comment.
Yes, the Fairy is one of mine. An old one, but since she is on a white background I thought she would show up well and she looks a little like I once did. :( :)
Lylith
Hi Lesley, welcome back!
