Fairy Poem
Tuesday, May 27, 2008, 12:21 PM [General]
In my secret garden, that's where you'll find me. Amongst the scented flowers, dancing with glee. Looking that bit closer through rose tinted glasses. Smiley faces look back at me with fairy glances. Guarding my possessions with all their hearts. All our work together is in itself an art. Through the air blows folly dust creating atmosphere. Come and join us and leave behind all fear. Lots of fun can be had by one and all. Just follow the signs to the Fairyland ball. Kerridwen Jeffery Tags:
Fairy Day
Tuesday, May 27, 2008, 06:41 AM [General]
As i'm sure some of you already know Fairy Day is Sunday 24th June. I have my own group on Facebook called Fairyland in the Making and have asked my group members how we can mark this very special day. As yet no one but me has come up with any ideas lol! I suggested only the other day that we did a swap, those of us that are crafty could swap some Fairy crafts, i.e ATCs, cards, drawings etc and those of us that aren't could do a secret Fairy, like secret Santa. We choose a fixed amount and purchase something of a Fairy nature and then post it onto our allocated Fairy friend. My other idea on a more personal level is to hold a small Fairy tea party at home with a few of my friends, those with children i'm thinking who might be prepared to dress up and do lots of yummy Sunday tea things to eat, sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and bedeck the garden. This idea went down well when i suggested it to my mum who i'm hoping will help me with the food but we'll see, i haven't made it public yet. So any Fairy friends who have any other suggestions for marking this special day in our calenders feel free to let me know. Fairy hugs x http://www.fairyday.com/ Tags:
