    Drenched in Cornish Magic

Wednesday, July 22, 2009, 07:35 AM GMT [General]

    I'm back!

Wow! What an amazing trip to Cornwall we had. I feel so blessed to have been well enough to go, and to have visited so many wonderful places during our stay. I shall be blogging about our experiences shortly!

Thankfully the flu cleared up and I got to Cornwall feeling fine, just had a cough which hung around, mainly when I was struggling up those steep hills! The lungs gradually improved though, hurrah! Although I seem to have come back with a mild Cornish cold instead - lol!

My only problem now is having a pain in my side which has gotten worse over the past couple of days. Hopefully will get to see the doc today and sort it out. Also planning to do a lot of sculpting today, have been so inspired by my trip! Tintagel was truly a spiritual home and I can't wait to share the stories with you all.

Blessed Be to all! And thank you all once again for your kindness!

    Thank You!!!!

I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all the dear Enchanted Folk who have left me such kind messages over the past few days! Especially to Be for putting on her best mummy/doctor's hat yesterday and cheering me up immensely! :)

I am delighted to say that I seem to be on the magical mend, much better today, leg pain almost gone and cough lessening by the hour. Managed to get up for the midwife's appointment this morning, all is well, blood tests all fine and my tummy bump is measuring a perfect 22cm for 22 weeks! Apparently it grows by 1cm per week of pregnancy - you learn something new every day!

Not sure midwife was too impressed to see me when she found out I had had flu - teeheehee! But what do these medical professionals expect, that is what they are there for - to make us better when we are sick!!

Anyhoo, am up and about (still taking it easy though - don't worry!). Today would have been our travelling down to Cornwall day, but never mind! Have doctors appointment in the morning, once I get the all clear I shall hopefully be winging my way down tomorrow instead for some magical Cornish air - fingers crossed!!

Big Hugs to all my dear faerie friends! Blessings and Sparkles,

    Not on the Mend!!!!

I spoke too soon, relapsed this morning!! Pain is back in other leg now with a vengeance, hardly got any sleep due to coughing, and in bed now feeling very ****. Definitely won't be going to St Ives tomorrow! Consoling myself with the hope that we can re-book another week at Faerystone, and that I should be better in time for Tintagel on the 13th.

    Hugs xxx

    On the Mend!

Well, I said a BIG prayer to God, Mother Mary, Jesus and the Archangels Michael and Raphael last night, and I slept right through for the first time in 3 nights. When I woke up this morning all the pain in my legs had gone completely, I could breathe again through my nose, and my cough had loosened! Throughout the day my wheezing has gotten better too. So have been thanking the angels profusely throughout the day and asking for the healing to continue, and asking for extra support from the faeries and my goddesses as well!!

Also wanted to let everyone know that Shayleah is doing well, she should be out of hospital tomorrow all being well and is getting better. Thank you again angels!

Baby Bumplet has been keeping me cheered throughout the last few days, wow what a lot of movement! Probably retaliating against mummy coughing so much LOL!

There has been kicking, hiccuping and general fluttering left right and centre :) In fact Bumplet obviously wants some attention on here too because the kicking has started again like fury!! :)

Am 22 weeks today, wow! Time is just flying by. We decided not to find out the sex but we (and everyone we speak to!) have an inkling it's going to be a girl. Apologies to my future baby if it turns out to be a boy!! :)

We have chosen names, Freya for a girl, Callum for a boy :)

My darling John went and collected our pram yesterday! We were so lucky, I have always wanted a proper old fashioned carriage pram but they are so expensive, but we found a beautiful second hand one on ebay being sold by a lady close to use (in Liverpool). Can't stop looking at it, it is so beautiful! It is chocolate and cream and we also got a lovely broderie anglais sun canopy with it too. Yesterday I won a cute vintage pram rattle to fit on it, with red and yellow ladybirds on!

Well, that's all for now. Sending sparkles of faerie dust and love to everyone!!! xxxx

Me again! Feeling so blessed right now, for all the lovely messages people have sent on here and on Facebook. And for the kind invitations to pop in for tea when we go to Cornwall! :)

Enchanted Folk is always the place to go to cheer the soul. Everyone here is an angel. THANK YOU!!
