I completed a new painting over the weekend called "Baby Waiting for Baby". This is a sentimental piece for me b/c it reminds me of when I was pregnant with my son (now almost 2) and my daughter (now 4) anxiously awaited his arrival.

Dearest Giovanna, I wish I had your wonderful talent & could have captured my own moment like this - it seems so long ago now & you will always treasure the significance of this magical image, it is beautiful. This spring season is so special for me as it's the time when both our boys were born, 17 & 19 years ago - it is always a time of new beginnings & changes for me - as I get older I learn that adapting to these changes is the wisest way & that is something I have tried to pass on to my younglings... (Thank you for my birthday blessings, you are not too late at all ;) |
