If you feel run down, sad, or just feel negitive
walk in a differant direction, it might just be the right one to take

Summer Storms
As the wind screamed through the hollow trees
Tearing at the very fabric of the leaves
And shimmering rain swept the roof's
And barn doors clattered in time with frighten hooves
An old tree fell by the barn side gate
In a strange quirk of fate
It did not harm man nor beast
But shattered an old feed box where rats once live, but now deceased
And in the darkness of the storm
I saw a man standing with cloak all worn
With that a hat that covered his eyes
And something dark by his side
I did what any brave man would do
And joined the dog in hiding too
The door did creek, as that dark figure crept silently in
And from his flash light I could see him grin
He could see me and the dog in our hidey hole
With two bottles of Jim Beam to the bed he did stroll
What a night with Uncle Jack, drinking and laughing
As thunder and rain and lightning did crack
