Greetings   Just want to say sorry for being away ! Since returning home from almost a year in the Philippines we have been soooo busy with settling in and with my wifes immigrations papers , it hasn't left lots of time. We will try for sure to be here on a more regular basis. We just recently got Luisa's greencard and making progress. It is also that time of year that we are spending much time attending craft fairs and are doing well for the start !

     We have met many great people here and would hate to see this site go ! We again are sorry for the absense !!!!!!

     its winter!!!! my first winter actually from the land of the free.for those of u who does not know it yet,finally im here now in the states,in massachusetts where the cold seeps into ur bones and make ur teeth gnashed (my husband is telling me,the coldest is not here yet,wait for january and february) i wonder what will i do when those coldest months comes when im like a mummy now (sigh) with so much clothes wrap around my body (sigh again) oh well as much as i dont like winter,im here and i must bear it,right?:)

      besides im the kind of person who always look for good things even in worst situation!!! i've been telling that to my husband this morning while we are out.im enumerating to him two of good things about winter(i just found two things only so far,lets see if i can find more)(smiling)the first one is i can wear boots!!!! (laugh aloud) its my dream to wear boots,the higher the better because back there in the philippines i cant wear one unless i want to look so strange and i want to get so many raised eyebrows!!! why?because its so hot there and only actors and actresses wears one there.so finally my dream of wearing boots  has materialized LOL.am i so silly?(giggle)if u find that silly then my second reason u will find sillier (tantaradan!!)the second one is i love winter when i go out of the door and my breath is smoking hahahahah.i just love it!!! its a novelty for me to see my breath flowing upward,i dont smoke thats why!!! as soon as i open the door to go outside i will blow and blow and if i dont see my breath billowing i feel disappointed lol now all of u will think im really strange(laughing so hard) well, i told u im trying to find good things out of it,forgive my silliness.

     before i close,let me all greet u a merry cold christmas!!! aha i think of another good thing again,its the fact that for the first time i will have a white christmas!!! merry christmas to all,from silly me and my husband mark.

First and formost, HAPPY MOTHERSDAY TO ALL THE MOTHERS IN THE WORLD !!!!!

            Just want to tell you all about a VERY SPECIAL mother that came into my life 2 years ago. We met on a website called "myyearbook". We became chat byddies at first and it grew from there ! She was still married to an abusive man at the time,and was for 15 yrs. !Never rememberd her birthday,not valentinesday or christmas !! Hung out all day and night drinking with his buddies and spending the money ! Seemed to forget he had children as well,the friends and alcohol was his life and she was his support ! He even pawnnd all her jewelry and household items.

     The day came when she had enough courage to do what should have been done many years earlier,move on !!!!She stayed there as long as she did for the love of her children ! Being the MOMMY and the DADDY !!!

      After they parted we got serious . I promised her she would never have to go through that kind of life ever again ! I MARRIED this beautiful , loving , caring women ! That's right, Im talking about Luisa !!!

     For Christmas she cooked a spaghetti dinner for 20 or more of the local kids that have nothing ! A even greater number of kids for new years !! ( not sure why, but they all love spagetti here,they had choices !! )

     Today is mothersday, any guesses what she is doing ??? COOKING SPAGHETTI for another group of local children in this area that helped us find fossils,showed us shortcuts and helped us all day more than once !!! Again here the choice was SPAGETTI !!!!!

     My wife brings soooooo many smiles soooooo much HAPPIENESS and tears of joy to my face !!! I love her dearly ! No need to ask why !! Just being her tells it all !!!!  I, attatching some pics of these childrens smiles that she brought to thier faces !!!! I NEED NOT SAY ANYMORE !! Greetings from Mark and Luisa !!!! Well we were home all day yesterday due to the fact that Luisa was feeling a bit under the weather ! Today she was feeling better so we got out and about and decided to head towards La Trinidad and visit the Bell Church which is a Buddhist Temple ! It was a great idea ! Got some great pics(even though photo's inside the church itself was PROHIBITED !!!!) It was a beautiful and colorful place and the weather was great !!! The exercise was also well needed !!lol No flat land here in Baguio !!! It's either uphill or downhill ! Guess thats the way it is when you live in the mountains !! I do miss the woods hiking of home, but i guess i can say this is an adventure of a lifetime that will be rememberd for ever,along with the fact that not everyone can say they have done it here !! My legs will for sure be in shape for the woods when we get back to the states !! I put these pics in an albub so please go ENJOY !! Love and Peace, Mark and Luisa !!
