Greetings   Just want to say sorry for being away ! Since returning home from almost a year in the Philippines we have been soooo busy with settling in and with my wifes immigrations papers , it hasn't left lots of time. We will try for sure to be here on a more regular basis. We just recently got Luisa's greencard and making progress. It is also that time of year that we are spending much time attending craft fairs and are doing well for the start !

     We have met many great people here and would hate to see this site go ! We again are sorry for the absense !!!!!!

     its winter!!!! my first winter actually from the land of the free.for those of u who does not know it yet,finally im here now in the states,in massachusetts where the cold seeps into ur bones and make ur teeth gnashed (my husband is telling me,the coldest is not here yet,wait for january and february) i wonder what will i do when those coldest months comes when im like a mummy now (sigh) with so much clothes wrap around my body (sigh again) oh well as much as i dont like winter,im here and i must bear it,right?:)

      besides im the kind of person who always look for good things even in worst situation!!! i've been telling that to my husband this morning while we are out.im enumerating to him two of good things about winter(i just found two things only so far,lets see if i can find more)(smiling)the first one is i can wear boots!!!! (laugh aloud) its my dream to wear boots,the higher the better because back there in the philippines i cant wear one unless i want to look so strange and i want to get so many raised eyebrows!!! why?because its so hot there and only actors and actresses wears one there.so finally my dream of wearing boots  has materialized LOL.am i so silly?(giggle)if u find that silly then my second reason u will find sillier (tantaradan!!)the second one is i love winter when i go out of the door and my breath is smoking hahahahah.i just love it!!! its a novelty for me to see my breath flowing upward,i dont smoke thats why!!! as soon as i open the door to go outside i will blow and blow and if i dont see my breath billowing i feel disappointed lol now all of u will think im really strange(laughing so hard) well, i told u im trying to find good things out of it,forgive my silliness.

     before i close,let me all greet u a merry cold christmas!!! aha i think of another good thing again,its the fact that for the first time i will have a white christmas!!! merry christmas to all,from silly me and my husband mark.

First and formost, HAPPY MOTHERSDAY TO ALL THE MOTHERS IN THE WORLD !!!!!

            Just want to tell you all about a VERY SPECIAL mother that came into my life 2 years ago. We met on a website called "myyearbook". We became chat byddies at first and it grew from there ! She was still married to an abusive man at the time,and was for 15 yrs. !Never rememberd her birthday,not valentinesday or christmas !! Hung out all day and night drinking with his buddies and spending the money ! Seemed to forget he had children as well,the friends and alcohol was his life and she was his support ! He even pawnnd all her jewelry and household items.

     The day came when she had enough courage to do what should have been done many years earlier,move on !!!!She stayed there as long as she did for the love of her children ! Being the MOMMY and the DADDY !!!

      After they parted we got serious . I promised her she would never have to go through that kind of life ever again ! I MARRIED this beautiful , loving , caring women ! That's right, Im talking about Luisa !!!

     For Christmas she cooked a spaghetti dinner for 20 or more of the local kids that have nothing ! A even greater number of kids for new years !! ( not sure why, but they all love spagetti here,they had choices !! )

     Today is mothersday, any guesses what she is doing ??? COOKING SPAGHETTI for another group of local children in this area that helped us find fossils,showed us shortcuts and helped us all day more than once !!! Again here the choice was SPAGETTI !!!!!

     My wife brings soooooo many smiles soooooo much HAPPIENESS and tears of joy to my face !!! I love her dearly ! No need to ask why !! Just being her tells it all !!!!  I, attatching some pics of these childrens smiles that she brought to thier faces !!!! I NEED NOT SAY ANYMORE !! Greetings from Mark and Luisa !!!! Well we were home all day yesterday due to the fact that Luisa was feeling a bit under the weather ! Today she was feeling better so we got out and about and decided to head towards La Trinidad and visit the Bell Church which is a Buddhist Temple ! It was a great idea ! Got some great pics(even though photo's inside the church itself was PROHIBITED !!!!) It was a beautiful and colorful place and the weather was great !!! The exercise was also well needed !!lol No flat land here in Baguio !!! It's either uphill or downhill ! Guess thats the way it is when you live in the mountains !! I do miss the woods hiking of home, but i guess i can say this is an adventure of a lifetime that will be rememberd for ever,along with the fact that not everyone can say they have done it here !! My legs will for sure be in shape for the woods when we get back to the states !! I put these pics in an albub so please go ENJOY !! Love and Peace, Mark and Luisa !!

First off HAPPY VALENTINES DAY !!!!!!  Just added new pic album called Baguio 2 ! Also added some new pics to Fae Friends and will be adding to Philippine Flowers shortly !

We were back in Baguio ( a city on top of one of the highest elevations in the Philippines,also the coolest temps as well as the incredable views ) on Feb. 5,6 and 7th to find a small house or an apartment to rent ,SUCCESS !!! We are moving there on the 5th of March !!! Need to get away from this constant heat before i disiergrate away !! Im losing weight rapidly on a daily basis !! I came from four seasons to constant heat and humidity day and night ! Now close to skin and bone ! YIKES ! On the weather it is 92 here and 74 in Baguio !! Although im losing all this weight,i feel fine !?!? On a sadder note yesterday Luisa was removing a full pot of BOILING water from the stove and the handle broke off and the pot spilled over her entire right foot !! OUCHHHHHHHHH Damn it hurt me to see her in sooooo much pain ! My best thinking through experiance was to get it in COLD water so her foot was in a bucket of ice water for 10 hours !!! Well thank the Fae Gods this morning when she awoke the pain,swelling and blistering are at a minimal !!!!!The power of faith,prayer and belive provale !!!!! Now will keep an eye on the blisters fo prevent infection !! Pray for her !!!

Most of the pics in Baguio 2 are from a Landscaping Compatition that is part of a month long festival called "PANAGBENGA" = FESTIVAL OF FLOWERS !! We will miss the most , especially the FLOAT Parade on the last weekend :( thats ok though cuz there are so many things to do and so many places to visit ! A swell place to be ! Here there isnt crap to do !!

Greetings to one and all ! Just thought id let you know not to be alarmed due to disappearing photos !!!! Just feel its time to regroup on them !! Will do my best to keep the adventures going ! We just missed out on a biggie ! Round trip from Clarks Air Base here in the Philippines to Bangkok Thailand for $22.00 US dollars ea. !!!!!!! Guess that explains why the seats were sold out less than a 1/2 hour later ! :( Better luck next time ! My parents were shipping us some very important documents and needed to get here asap ! oh well,this christmas i have so many wishes like i wish there is no war anymore,no more killings,no more hurtings,no more homeless people,no more hungry,no more sick,all so happy and peaceful but i know im wishing for the impossible but still i wish it.oh i forgot im sure in fairy land all my wishes are granted.then i asked my husband if there is christmas among fairies,he said that christmas in human is one day only but in fairyland he said christmas is everyday,i guess he is right coz im sure all fairies are happy everyday,flitting here and there,they are not besets with human worries like us,they dont die of sickness maybe they die when we destroy their homes in the forest when we invade it and build houses or use it to farm animals and pesticides,trash and pollution.i have another wish for myself also,that if afterlife is true then i would rather be a fairy in my next life,oh how wonderful it is to fly and play and see wonderful things around u.oh wake up luisa lol.anyway before i embark on my own fantasy land let me all greet u,all fairies and gnomes out there,all friends in this community a very merry christmas,wishing everyone of us is happy on this day and all year round.MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!
