its sunday and mark and i are so bored that we decided to go to this university that boast of a natural museum and botanical garden,this university is situated at the foot of one of the enchanted mountains here in the philippines,its a mountain shaped as a woman lying down,u could see the shape of a long hair and a body of a woman and this enchanted mountain is called maria makiling mountain.legend has it that maria makiling is a good fairy watching over by that mountain and so many believe even now that she was still there and if u happen to displease her u will be lost and never to be found again.mountaineers who hike on that mountain is wearing their shirt inside out coz we believe thats the way to avoid being lost and everybody is so careful in picking flowers or hurting birds or doing something that will harm the birds and the plants because thats one way of displeasing the fairy.with that in mind we head there,its a first time for me also and when we were there oh how beautiful it is,its a forest reserve and u can see there so many old big trees,river flowing on big rocks,beautiful wild flowers,colourful insects and plants u can only see there on the mountain.mark and i were so happy taking pictures without disturbing anything until we came into this place that forked into two roads,one is light and wide,the other going up was so dark and eerie.knowing my husbands taste of adventure,when i asked him which way to choose,of course he chose the one going up that is so dark and eerie and i agree coz i am never a coward also,so we proceeded.he lead that way and as we enter and go deep into the mountain,i dont feel any fright,only the anticipation of what we will find in the end,as we go deeper,it became darker and darker,and the path we are taking is made up of cement that the university has constructed long time ago and judging by the leaves on the pavement,no one enters it for a long time,only us!!!i still dont feel anything,i was so happy pointing to mark snail,lizards,wild flowers and we stopped each time and he took pictures until we came into this place that has many cages,its called PHILIPPINE RAPTORS,an aviary of birds of prey,but its an abandoned one,nothing there but eerie silence,cages without birds,dillapidated establishments.we went inside and mark started to find anything until he got one feather of a philippine eagle.after he found it,thats when i felt it,a feeling that someone was watching us,i dont know how to explain it but i have this gift of sensing spirits,i know when some spirits are present(encountered a ghost before)i knew that time someone is out there,i cant explain it to mark but i got so afraid so i asked him to please hurry up,i was almost running and my husband knowing me so well knew something was wrong and he asked me why i am so scared.i did not answer and we started to head back,the moment that we got out of the ghost aviary,thats when i saw the cat,what in hell can a cat be doing there!!! its in the middle of nowhere!!!as i look at the cat i knew in my heart its not an ordinary cat.the cat is like orange in color,tigerish,so clean,so healthy,and so fat!!!the cats that we encounter there in the entrance of the botanical garden is scrappy,so thin,so hungry looking feeding on the thrash so i asked myself why in hell this cat is so beautiful and suddenly appeared out of nowhere.i said that to my husband and he said dont mind it we turn our back on the cat,i was behind mark and when i look back i saw the cat following us,when it saw that im looking he stops and looked in me directly,all my hair stood up and i walked faster,the cat continue to follow us up to a certain point until we got to the point that i cant see him anymore.i tried to rationalize to myself that its an ordinary cat but still i knew its not.when we got home so tired,we had an early night.at first i cannot sleep but when im in the middle of sleeping and wakefullnes,as i close my eyes i was jolted back when i saw a woman in white pass by in the door of our bedroom coz its always open,oh god im so scared but i fought it by telling myself im just imagining it because of what happens,i did not tell it to mark but i stood up went to the kitchen and drink water and i asked my husband where is the feather he got out of the aviary coz im thinking maybe that fairy was mad at us for taking it,i could not believe she will follow us!!!!so i went back to bed,again i tried to sleep and same thing happens,but this time i saw the woman in white flowing dress hiding under the tree and looking and smiling at me. im so scared i told mark that im seeing a woman in white.what scares me the most is the fact that im not dreaming even coz im not even asleep!!!my husband told me that the woman meant no harm to me to calm me down. i knew he was right coz the woman in even playful smiling at me while she was hiding on that tree,that comforts me and i fell asleep and i dreamed of one so beautiful bird,so white flying around me.before i asked my husband when i knew of this community,i asked him if these members of enchanted folks really had an encounter with the fairies,he answered me maybe but now i knew fairies really exist,i met one,her name is maria makiling!!!!
