Yay! It's the week of the may day fairie festival. i'm leaving in just a few hours to meet with my friends from the Mountain, Meadow, Forest, and River and all places in between. For the next few days we will be in a frenzy, getting things ready for all who join us there. Already preparations have been taking place for months... although the weather doesn't look the best, remember that Rain is merely Wet sunshine! Please come and join us. www.fairiefestival.net. Young Cassie has agreed to take over the leadership of the Mountain Tribe. I will still be helping to gather the Tribe, however, and hope that you will meet us each day at 12:45 by Frodos Stage.
Wishing you a truly magical Spoutwood, dear Bibi - you've worked so hard & I know will be doing so all through this special weekend, thank you. Have fun my friend, I'm sprinkling fairy dust on your enchanted clipboard ;) Fly high...
The May Day Fairie FEstival once again celebrates the warming of the Earth and the homecoming of the nature spirits to the outer world! Come one and all, to Spoutwood Farm on May 2,3,4 and make merry! Come in the meantime to our website www.fairiefestival.net and see what's going on! There you'll see our list of 2008 vendors and Natureplace exhibitors as well as what you can do while you're there. Soon we'll post our performers and the schedule so if you can only make it one day, you can choose the one that looks like the most fun.
And if you haven't pledged your allegiance to a Tribe yet, come and join the Mountain Tribe!
If you do'nt know what the kubiando I'm talking about read about it on our Group page:

I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting many new. KUBIANDO!!!!! THE MOUNTAIN ROCKS!!!!
...and only 24 days away from today! (4-8-2007) I'm looking forward to my days there as a volunteer Photogra-fae, plus the chance to meet all the nice Enchanted Folk who might show up at the Faerie Magazine Booth at 1:00 PM on Saturday for a 'Merry Meet' (Arranged courtesy of the Enchanted Folk Pennsylvania group!) Hope to see as many of my Fae-vorite people as possible show up! Now, why don't you send me a message about the Mountain tribe, too? (Grin!)
Just two more days and then the deadline to apply for vendorship at the world-famous May Day Fairie Festival! It's not that we're desperate for vendors -- we already have more than we can accept -- but we want to have the best of the best of the best. We are a festival that accepts only 100% HANDMADE work, so this is your chance to shine without having to compete with all that commercial crap that you see at so many Festivals.
Please mention that you're applying as a result of seeing this blog, and we will WAIVE the $10 jury fee! Deadline is January 20th -- jury will let you know of your acceptance by February 10th.
ONLY 6 more days to apply to vend at the May Day Fairie Festival! We are looking for 65 very special artists to represent the Fae! Go to www.fairiefestival.net and click on the Fairie Artisans link. Read the vendor info carefully and then if it sounds like your kind of gig,use the online application. Good luck and Kubiando!

Hey there Fairie Artists!
I'd just like to remind you that there are only 9 1/2 weeks to apply for the 2008 May Day Fairie Festival! Although that sounds like a lot of time, we really appreciate those who apply early. It gives us more time to process and ponder the applications with the care and consideration that they all deserve. In fact, we have officially started jurying already - so please get your application in. We are encouraging you to provide us with a link to your pictures; this could be your amazing website that you already have created, or it could simply be your artfully-shot photographs of your beautiful products available on a photo-sharing website like flickr, or even your myspace account. We're asking you to do this because we are not photoshop experts. If you send us a humongous file that we have to put on our server, we have to deal with things like slow dial-up connections (Yes, some of us STILL have dial-up!). It's up to you, but it'll be much easier to look at photos from those who take the time to take good, careful shots of their own work and make sure it looks good on the web. A website of your own has the additional advantage of telling us a little something more about YOU as an a artist and a person.
Please tell your friends, and encourage anyone who you think would be an asset to the Festival - artists who are vending their OWN work that reflects the beauty and mystery of Mother Nature and her many children....
Read the information available under the Artisans link at www.fairiefestival.net and then use the link to apply.... Kubiando!
Hi, Bibi! Things have been nuts, but just to let you know, I am going to apply for Spoutwood. I am out of everything right now, but some of my work is posted on myspace and my website, and I can give a description of my other handmade items and hopefully have some new pics of that stuff within the month.I can also post pics of my new pieces(drawings, paintings) in progress that will hopefully be done for Spoutwood.
Hope everything is well with you and your family, and talk to you soon!
Hello Gorgeous Bibi, thank you so much for being a part of the EF community. You are a real wonder with all you do for our beloved Spoutwood, I'm counting the days hun and am sooo excited to be spending some time once again with all you enchanted folk there! I really appreciate your lovely support for the new Uniting Kingdoms part of our beloved Faerie Magazine, that means a huge amount to me. Looking forward to celebrating FM's 3rd Birthday with you in May!!
Big Be hugs my magical friend,
Hi Bibi! Thanks! I loved your FarieCon photos too and your needle work is just amazing! I am crossing my fingers (and toes) for the Fairie Festival :) I don't think we met at FaerieCon, but you look so familiar in you photos. Since we were in the same area, we probably were standing right next to each other at some point.
Wishing you a truly magical Spoutwood, dear Bibi - you've worked so hard & I know will be doing so all through this special weekend, thank you. Have fun my friend, I'm sprinkling fairy dust on your enchanted clipboard ;) Fly high...
