Music:I like good music. Favorite artists include Jennifer Charles, Zero 7, Sublime, Amy Winehouse, Dan the Automator, Mike Patton, Cake.
Movies:I just saw Mamma Mia! and I loved it. Also the art styles of Hellboy 2 are great, the director did Pan's Labyrinth and that is an instant classic. See Spirited Away. Anime is one of my favorite genres.
TV:
Books:I love Gregory MacGuire. He writes fairy tale spin-offs, such as Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, and Mirror Mirror.
Currently reading Atonement.
Anyone going to Faeriecon? I haven't bought my tickets yet but I'm rallying the troups. I'm a big Brian and Wendy Froud fan, so I'm hoping they will sign one (or two) of my Faerie books. I'm not much of an artist myself, but I appreciate good art. I love Juxtapoz Magazine, its kind of out there, but art is subjective. I also love Faerie Magazine. I'm going to try and make my costume for the Good Faeries Ball. I am going to be a tree faerie. I ave some good ideas, I just have to figure out how to put it together. Definitely not a seamstress! Well, hope to see you there. I'll be there with bells on, well not bells, maybe apples.
