Another day off, and another day of crafting, creating and updating.  I've just uploaded a whole batch of images to my gallery here

The title of the blog is because the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, "Y-Control" is on my mp3 player right now, and I really do appreciate the lyric, "I wish I could buy back the woman you stole."

Yes, I've been having a pretty melancholy go of it as of late, but then again, how's that any different from any other time in the past 5-ish months?  It's not.

My garden has finally started producing comestibles for me, however!  And that is quite lovely.  I made a dish of eggplant and tomato completely with home grown ingredients.  It was quite lurvely.

My Mom also seems to have found a possible new provider for me to get rough/raw gemstones, at least certain ones.  It seems way too good to be true, but if it turns out legit, I'll have a much better/cheaper source for stones like sapphires and rubies.  I'm running a poll on my DeviantArt blog (http://izile.deviantart.com/journal/ to see which stones people would like to see more of, if cost was not an issue.

I'm also running a deal on DA, that whoever grabs the 15,000 visitor screen cap on my front page on DeviantArt will get 50% off any item in my Etsy shop.  Right now, it's at 14,822!  And, of course, when it gets up to 20,000, I'll over another free custom pendant.

Aside from that, I've finished reading Warren Ellis' "Transmetropolian" and will start in on The Gunslinger Born to feed my Dark Tower addiction. 

Maudlin, I know, but sometimes I wonder what I would be like, as a person, if all that has happened, hadn't.  If I had been allowed to become a fully-functioning adult without PTSD, or any of the other things that came with it.  It's been so long now, I can't really remember what I was like before the monsters.
