I'm painting a new pirate girl right now, and she is so cute! She's got an octopus tattoo! I love octopus tattoos, I don't have one myself, but I think they look really cool. I might finish her today, I'm not sure - we have to run a bunch of errands today too.
I'm getting excited about Dragon*Con - I'm already getting ready for it, hehe. This is going to be my best year ever as far as shows go! I've got some extra cool stuff that I will be bringing - now all I have to do is figure out how I can fit everything at my booth =P
Gah, I can't believe I have to wait two weeks for the next "LOST", and then there won't be more until next "season." At least it's a 2 hour finale. So much exciting stuff is happening on there, I hope some of it gets resolved (although I'm sure they will have some cliffhanger at the end, as per usual).
We went and saw Iron Man - it was awesome!
I am very stoked also - next week we're going to go see the Kids In the Hall!!! It'll be the second time I've seen them live (the last time was many years ago though, when I still lived in Kansas City). I'm so glad they are coming down here to Florida.

Jasmine's "Hope" statue now from Bradford Exchange

I have some very exciting news!
As some of you may know, I have recently partnered with the Bradford Exchange / Hamilton Collection to create a new line of exclusive collectibles. And guess what? The first one is now available! I am so excited!
Her name is "Hope." You have never seen her before - reason being is that Hope herself is exclusive to the Hamilton Collection. She is a creation of mine that can only be found at Hamilton - you will not see a print of her, or any other art or merchandise from me featuring her. Very special indeed! "Hope" is a delicately handcrafted statue - larger than my others - seated she is over 5" high. She also sparkles with glittering accents - very adorable. She is extra special as well because we created her specifically for Breast Cancer Awareness - she holds a sparkling pink ribbon (the symbol for awareness) and a portion of the proceeds from all sales will be going directly to Breast Cancer Research. So not only do you get the beautiful statue, you are also contributing to a very important cause. This statue is LIMITED to only 95 casting days, which means she will only be around for a short time - so grab her while you can!
Since Hope is a Hamilton Exclusive, I cannot sell her myself - she is only available from the Hamilton Collection via mail order. However I have made it very easy for you - I have put her & the ordering information right up on my website, click below to see her:
Hamilton is currently taking "reservations" for Hope. That means that all you need to do is fill out the order form and mail it to them, so you are guaranteed the statue! Do not send money now! Then in about 6-10 weeks, you will receive your "Hope." You will have 30 days to "evaluate" her (decide whether or not you want to buy her, but who could send a cutie like this back??) - and then if you want to keep her, Hamilton Collection will bill you at that time. So you send NO MONEY NOW - not until after you're happy with the statue! And guess what? She is ONLY $19.95! And shipping is $6.99. A wonderful deal indeed for a limited edition Hamilton Exclusive. Those of you who buy from the Bradford Exchange/Hamilton Collection probably already know that they always do a lovely job with their collectibles, and have been making them for 40 years, so you can be confident in this little cutie!
I must note however with some regret, that at this time, Hamilton Collection is only accepting USA/Domestic Orders (they have not made her international yet, but I am crossing my fingers for the future!). So at this time, she is only available to US customers. I will let you know as soon as possible when/if this changes, because I know a lot of you live all over the world, so hopefully we can figure something out.

Jasmine's back with a New Painting, Sale & CILM!
We are back!
Matt took Kachina, Theo, Ellie, Amber & Chris back to the airport early this morning. We had a wonderful vacation in the Caribbean, celebrating the marriage of Heather & Brian McFeely!
I had so much fun, got sunburned, ate a lot and drank even more =)

This new original painting is called "Orange Blossom Fairy." The FIFTH painting in my popular "Flowers" series - she is a lovely piece indeed. Here in Florida, oranges are a-plenty. We have wonderful oranges and orange orchards. The flowers that precede the orange fruit are also quite lovely, and amazingly fragrant! We also have fantastic Orange Blossom Honey made from the flowers, so if you look closely at the painting you will see an adorable little HONEYBEE in there! It is such a cute and colourful piece, I am very happy with her! It is painted in acrylics and measures 12"x16". Custom Auction &Canvas& Vacation Info from Jasmine
Hi everyone!
I have a new CUSTOM painting auction, a ton of new canvas prints, and also important Vacation Ordering Information. I'm getting ready to go out of town for about a week, I will not be leaving until Saturday the 3rd, and back on Sunday the 10th, but I thought I'd let you all know in case you have orders waiting, or need to contact me before I leave, etc. Please note that all of these auctions new auctions (and all of the new ones I listed yesterday) end around the time I get back home, so feel free to bid with confidence - there will be absolutely NO delays on these as I'll be back home and everything will be normal, hehe. And for those of you who have any new eBay orders, OSWOA paintings, etc. you'd like me to ship before I leave, or want to place website orders to ship before I leave, please get your payments to me before Thursday (tomorrow) night at 6:00PM Central Time. All orders paid before that time will ship before I leave, no worries! Otherwise, I will ship when I get back after the 10th.
Please note also that all the other 1000+ items in my store are going "on pause" (ie, the store items & framed originals have "disappeared" but will "reappear" when I get home!) - everything will be back to normal when I come home. First off is the new CUSTOM painting - these are SO much fun, both for me and for the customer! This is a larger one than usual too! Basically I have a 12"x16" painting just started - the beginnings of a big eyed beautiful face to one side. The winner of this auction will get to tell me how to finish their painting! It is your painting - you can choose if she will be a fairy, an angel, a mermaid, a Halloween witch, an elf, etc. You can choose her clothing, her eye colour, her hair colour, her skintone, her hairstyle, and her makeup! If she is a fairy, you can tell me what type of wings to paint and what colour. If you want her to be a mermaid, you can tell me how you'd like her tail to look, hehe. These are a blast!
