My Mini paintings are actual original paintings, painted by me. Just like my big paintings, but little! Original acrylics on 3"x5" sheets of canvas, they are always set at a fixed price of $50, it's the most affordable way to attain one of my originals, and they do tend to sell out fast. And the good news for those of you folks who are online image/graphics hobbyists - makers of tubes, signature tags, websets, members of the groups for PSP and other image/graphics groups. I have a brand NEW graphics package up at CILM! It's a FUN way to spend time doing something creative, without the whole "having to paint something yourself" part, hehe. Another beautiful day outside! About 80 degrees and sunny, can't go wrong with that. It might hit 90 degrees tomorrow they say. I love Florida =)
Of course I'm pretty much stuck inside painting all day, but at least I get to have the windows open. I much prefer open windows and ceiling fans to air conditioning. So do Azrael and Mama Wolf - they sit on the windowsills with their nostrils wiggling all the time.

I order from there a lot, I wish it didn't cost so much for shipping though. We have a big Asian grocery store in Orlando on Colonial Drive which carries some of the stuff, but not all of my favourites though.
Hey - I have a new painting (gee, really?).....
"Mildew" is her name - got the idea for this one last night when Matt was cleaning the bathroom. No - really! Does the mildew fairy every visit your house? I've shown "Mildew" here hiding in some dank basement, working her yucky spell. She even has a grubby crystal ball of decay. Great grimy greens and ambient lighting really make this piece "pop" right out at you, and it shows how everything - even moldy old mildew - can be beautiful! She's a big painting and very, very detailed - measuring 16"x20" - original acrylics on sheet of canvas. Busy day today, but I got a lot done. It's always a little crazy when I'm catching up from being out of town!
I'm watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. It's the alternative to the Super Bowl, I guess, lol. I've actually seen all four Puppy Bowls over the years (not really intentionally, it just worked out that way). It's really really cute - and they have a kitty half-time show (with little kittens playing with toys). What a great show!

"Nixie" is a truly gorgeous painting! 22"x26" framed! She really brings a whole new element of beauty and a bright mermaid-y feel just hanging up on my wall. Her name is Nixie - this is a very special painting, as she's going to be featured in an upcoming book of short stories. This is a portrait of Nixie, a mermaid character in the book I am illustrating. Since she will be published, she is certainly of special interest to collectors. Nixie is shown underwater - in the distance a wrecked pirate ship - and in the foreground many colourful clownfish and other tropical fish! And she is framed by my wonderful husband, Matt. I don't often offer work that is already framed, or ready-to-hang, so this is quite special. Again - this is the original painting, on a canvas panel and it has been framed in an elegant 3" wide ornate black & mahogany coloured "open-wood" style frame. I have finished the painting with a glossy varnish and it looks amazing! She is 100% ready-to-hang - just stick her up on a nail on the wall, and you are good to go! I'm back from my trip! Got back home early this morning - very tired, but had a great time =) Nothing like riding endless airplanes all day with lots of delayed flights & re-routing =P Matt & I had a wonderful time though!

Basically I have a 9"x12" painting just started - the beginnings of a big eyed beautiful face in the middle. The winner of this auction will get to tell me how to finish their painting! It is your painting - you can choose if she will be a fairy, an angel, a mermaid, a Halloween witch, an elf, etc. You can choose her clothing, her eye colour, her hair colour, her skintone, her hairstyle, and her makeup! If she is a fairy, you can tell me what type of wings to paint and what colour. If you want her to be a mermaid, you can tell me how you'd like her tail to look, hehe. These are a blast! Next up - the new ORIGINAL painting is called "A Crimson Companion" - and it is painting on wood! It features a beautiful big eyed dark haired elfin girl with her magnificent crimson red dragon. It is READY TO HANG and does not require framing. The sides of the oval beveled wood panel are painted a glossy black - it is quite stunning! It is an environmentally-conscious selected wood, no worries! I have finished the piece with a glossy varnish and it looks amazing! No framing is needed - I will include a sawtooth hanger and screws for easy hanging! It is about 8.5" tall by 6.5" wide - a tall rectangular wooden panel, original acrylic painting on wood (about 1" thick basswood).
