...thought I'd share my new painting, Summer Maiden, with you, despite today's dashed un-summery weather (boo!) I'm fervently praying for it to clear up for this weekend's Three Wishes Faery Festival. I'm soooooo excited to be one of the guest artists there, and I very much hope to meet some of my fellow Enchanted Folk there!!
During the last few months of fairly relentless work I've been neglecting this enchanted grove dreadfully! - so I make this early spring offering to appease the woodland spirits! xxx

I sent my friend Michael a wee message, this afternoon, saying I was listening to Hawkwind and making scones, he demanded the recipie, so, I knocked this together, and thought I'd share it with you! xxx
Oooo, I will have to try that one out myself. I think I would experiment and see if I could pull it off with golden raisins instead cause I really, really don't like dates. I'm a strange little faery, I know :)

Oh my goodness! - my head is buzzing as if 'twere full of faerie fireflies!!
- for at long last my wee postman has brought my copies of Lament, a new YA dark faery/fantasy novel, with cover and illustrations by me! - somehow, I still didn't quite believe in it till I could actually hold it in my hands!
I'm twirling and twittering, like a thing demented!

Greetings fair folk!
I don't know about you, but my wee nose is atingle with the crackling of autumn magic in the air!! - my favourite season by far, is come upon us again! ....and I thought I'd share this little gypsy pixie sketch with you, as there seems to be something very autumnal about her, I imagine her with a tiny wagon, parked under a bramble hedge somewhere, gathering enormous berries! - I've started a colour piece, showing her in company with her trusty mouse-hound,...of which, more soon....
On saturday, my friend Sharon and I begin our annual autumnal visits to the wonderful Pollok Park. A fabulous country park on the south side of Glasgow ( now sadly under threat from awful developers!) - I'll be skipping through the woods, thinking of the elemental creatures, ....just out of sight! - and of my enchanted friends!
Thanks for the friendship!!! May the faeries bring you a lot of luck, blessings, abundance, friendship, love and laughter to your life!
Love, Light & Blessings,
Greetings Miss Julia and little curtseys of delight to you for being an EF Faezine columnist (please imagine me hun ;o) The whole zine experience has been joyful and I am so glad you joined us *jumpin' with the Bean here* thank you for gracing us in every way dear friend. Collating the summer edition surrounded by pretty hawthorn is inspiring, even the raindrops sparkle at this time of the year! Still twirling, especially as we're blessed with daily rainbows at the moment, woo hoo ripe for chasing indeedy... Happy waves,
I love your art! Your technique is flawless! I love the texture of the pastels on the watercolor in your most recent piece! It is so fanciful. I feel like I am looking into another world when I am looking at it! hehe
DONOVAN! One of the most moving, etheric artists! I remember him on the US SMOTHERS BROS. SHOW with the whole cast dancing about in a circle! I will have to look for that recording: THE LULLABY OF SPRING. Loved your Stonemaiden Scribbling at FaeZine.com
She is so enchanting and delightful! I love your style!
