Leo is one of the two only signs of Eqyptian derivation (the other being Aries). People born within this time are enthusiastic, energetic, and optimistic. The ruling plant of Leo is the sun (thus, the element is Fire), so the energy in a Leo makes them strive to always get above their regular selves; and they are, in turn, naturally attracted to strong personalities. They tend to forgive faults easily in the people they like, so long as they contribute individuality and purpose. Leos are usually generous and are overflowing with sympathy. They are usually lucky and receive money from unthought-of places; but the one thing they seldom get is love, which is a thing they crave most above all. A Leo has the power to inspire others, but detests control or being dictated to.
