Hello again everyone,
It has been ages since i last "Blogged" and a lot has happened since then.
Mainly the delivery of our beautiful daughter!
Thank you all for the wonderful name suggestions but we have decided on Freya Krystal as we wanted an unusual but beautiful fae name for her.
She was born on 17th August 2008 at 1:12pm GMT and weighed 3lb 7oz, delivered by ceasarean section at 33 weeks and 4 days. The team of doctors, nurses and midwives at St. Marys hospital in Manchester were absolutely great! The consultant that did the operation was so calm, decisive, and confident about the op even though he had never delivered a baby with a mother with my condition before that he made me feel relaxed and confident in him.
She has a cleft palate (Which we had anticipated) and also the same growth condition as me (also anticipated) called SEDC, which basically means she will be short in stature as she grows. She had a problem with breathing at first but they put her on ventilation and we were told by the nurse that she may be able to come off that soon as she seems to be coping pretty well.
The photo's here were taken when she was just a few hours old, the first piccy she is less than an hour old!
This is only a short blog as its been a long day, more will be added soon.
Thanks for reading

It sounds to me that the Mother Fae has blessed you with a wonderful being - from straight out of the light. I don't think your anticipations will have prepared you completely though, for all the Love that's going to blossom between you!
TommyYou're a wonderful, loving mother to this new blessing KarinaFae...
