About Me: Im a struggling artist! I love painting faeries in watercolour and making handcrafted gifts.

Music: I love 50s rock n roll ( Elvis -swooon!!) and 80s classics! Love new age music and just about anything that makes me happy!

Movies: Movies are a passion...Wizard of Oz, Labyrinth, Nightmare Before Christmas, Harry Potter, Grease, Spiderman--oooh so many!!!

TV: Doctor Who, Heroes, Lost, Smallville

Books: Anything by James Herbert- especially Once and Magic Cottage. I love Harry Potter, Spiderwick, and my childhood Enid Blyton books....the Magic Faraway Tree is the most magical book I ever read as a child!

Likes: artwork, and meeting friendly nice people.

Dislikes: Loud rude people!

Hobbies: Painting, watching movies, reading, playing on my Nintendo (really need to act my age one day!!), spending time with friends, and shopping!!

Vices: waaaay too much pizza and white wine!! Lush bath products....they smell so wonderful!

I've got a new website!

I can't believe I actually have a new website for my artwork!

Since buying the domain in 2005, I have spent forever trying to get a site together and have just never managed it ( Im not technically minded at all!!!) . Last year, I was out of action for the full year and couldnt paint at all, due to disc damage in my back and neck - and so after I stopped feeling sorry for myself, I started to try and learn HOW to do this! I got a very simple ( supposedly fool-proof!) web building program, which does a lot of the tech work for you and I spent all this time trying and testing! A lot of blood, sweat and tears later ( LOTS of tears later!) ,I finally uploaded it yesterday! I pray it doent go wrong!

Id be really grateful for anyone's comments - if it looks ok etc !

Wow, you've done pretty darn good for someone who professes not to be a techie! ;^)

I love your artwork, such exquisite lacework, ribbons, and ties. Very detailed and visually rich (not to mention those cuuute fae)!

Dear Kathy, thank you for joining our EF community - your picture is such a sparkly treat! Plus, you mentioned David Tennant & now I can't think straight... what a gorgeous actor he is & really smiling eyes ;) I'm a big Elvis fan too, he was a huge part of my younger years & when he died & they replayed his movies late at night, I sat & cried for hours. I still love his music & films, but I don't think that these generations truly get him like we all did, eh?! Yay too for the Magic Faraway Tree, I also enjoyed reading that one to my boys when it was their turn!!
