Happy Mother's Day to all

This pastel painting is what I gave my Mom for Mother's Day.  It is a picture of her "Bestest Boy".  He passed away about a year ago, and I have wanted to  do this for her for along time...but the other day the magic started calling me, and I felt compelled to do this.  The spirits were calling and this is what they wanted me to do.   I'm very pleased with this...and so was she.

 Another Fairy came my way.  I had one idea in my mind and She suddenly came along.  I kept trying to return to my orginal idea, and this little lady would have nothing to do with it.  So, I finally let her do what she wanted...and this is what resulted.  I think she was right.

Hi to All,

  I'm kinda please with myself.  I haven't done any art work in awhile, as my eyesight was VERY poor due to cataracts. But, I've had cataract surgery in January and again in February....and now I'm back!!!!! Yeah!!  It is so good to have my old and dear friend back in my life.  I TRULY  missed being able to create.  This is a mixed media piece of my Goddaughter,Sam...who like me is also distracted by shiny things. So, here's to her...and having the magic back.  Kim
