i know i just sent out a blog about the horse rescue but i have an urgent need.
jim and i have been helping a family with 8 kids out for the last few months. last night the landlord and her son were threatening them and the police were called. today the city came and condemned the house meaning they have to be out by tomorrow afternoon. jim and i will keep some of their stuff at our house until they are relocated. they have no where to go. we are doing a benefit concert for them on Oct 11 in beloit but they need help now. if you can give to this family now, please contact me immediately!!! ladyribbon@ladyribbon.com if you can give $5 $10 $100 $1000 this is a worthy family who deserves to be helped. they are not lowlifes. this family has become our friends. we feel we must do whatever we can to help them. i will be sending you an attachment of the flyer for the benefit if you can come great. if not that's ok. like i said, they need $$$ now!!! please please please dig deep and help us help them. some of you that might only know us casually, please understand we don't normally ask people for $$$. your prayers are welcome as well. we are also contacting churches in the area to see how they can help as well. thanks for whatever you can do.

i am sore from helping at the horse rescue yesterday but i'll get over it. the two ladies i am helping have been taking care of 30+ horses for 3 yrs!!! i will have to build up my muscles. i've been so physically inactive it will be a good thing. i will have to get some pics of the place and the animals. these two women are heroes and i am privileged to be able to support them. if there are any people in the harvard illinois area that would like to help out, putting up some cabinetry, fence building, and other projects that need to be done let me know. if you can help out financially i can get that info to you as well. they are licensed and will hopefully be able to get some government funding. if this isn't your cup of tea, at least find somewhere to give back that suits you. helping others is a part of my life because it fulfills me, because i must. i am happy to be working with these awesome women. we will be in elkhorn wi for a rodeo. it's called Real Men Wear Pink Rodeo to raise $$ for breast cancer. well not FOR breast cancer, you know what i mean.! :D thanks for reading and i hope you will be inspired to support someone today!!!
