About Me:
Above all, I am a child of the Universe. I don't really ascribe to any one path or tradition but one thing that is certain is that the Goddess has had an enormous influence in my life. Faeries have an important place in my heart since they are the reason that I discovered the goddess and the magic that is abundant in everything around us. I'm 24 years old, and an undergrad anthropology student at FIU in Miami and it's my last semester (yay!) . It would be really interesting to meet other open-minded people who are also interested in Goddess, faeries, Wicca, shamanism, neopaganism, etc. and learn from each other.
Music:
My fave genre is fantasy and Sci-Fi hands down, but I also like action movies and sometimes scary movies....but I'm a big chicken so I need someone to watch those with.....I love Lord of the Rings, The Legend of EarthSea, Harry Potter, The Magical Legend of the Leprechaun, The Princess Bride.....the list could continue without end.
Movies:
Shakira, Shakira, Shakira!!! I love Shakira, her music is really sincere and she has an amazing voice...and have you seen her dance...sooo awesome.....I have a really eclectic taste in music. I like reggaeton b/c the beat gets in your blood and speaks to you (at least to me)...Hip Hop, R&B, spanish ballads (sometimes), spanish rock, etc.....But I also like new age music which is good for meditating and relaxing...I also LOVE gypsy music-for some reason it calls to my blood (it must be my gypsy spirit guide and my gypsy-ness from past lives)
Books:
Here goes the list.....One of my fave's is The Spiral Dance by Starhawk....When God Was A Woman by Merlin Stone....The Chalice and the Blade by Riane Eisler...Faeries and Good Faeries/Bad Faeries by Brian Froud (the artwork is amaaaazing)...The Mists of Avalon...Harry Potter....Lord of the Rings...recently, I've been into Laurell K. Hamilton novels...the Meredith Gentry series...it's about the unseelie faerie court...its really good fantasy and has just the right mix of action and dark sex...this series is my newest fave...hehehehe
