About Me:I'm a fantasy, fairy & gothic artist from Finland. I have a diploma in illustrating children's books from London Art College, but other than that I'm proud to say that I'm mostly a self taught artist. I love experimenting with new techniques and absorbing new information constantly. As an artist I still have a lot to learn, but I see that as the point of creating. You can never be "ready" and I must say I love every step of the way, deeper into my imagination.
I joined Enchanted Folk to meet new like-minded people and artists and hopefully also make some new friends.
My biggest sources of inspiration are: the finnish nature, my own beautiful garden with it's roses and perennials, faeries, mythology and also the gothic subculture, music and style, just to name a few.
Currently I'm running my own graphic design company called Lindavision, so besides art, I design books, brocures, websites etc. I've also been working on illustrating my own Tarot deck since 2008. Creating art is the most enjoyable thing I can imagine in my life, so making a living by doing something I love and what brings a little bit of magic to people's every day lives would be (and is) a dream come true for me.

About a week ago I finally opened up my own Zazzle Shop! I'll be adding more products when I have the time from my work, but so far I have some greeting cards, all the 12 Zodiac masks on mugs, mousepads and a couple of skateboards and T-shirts :) It's always so thrilling to design new products, I love it!
Wow! I just got selected as the Froudian artist of the month for December 2009! I feel so honored! Brian and Wendy Froud are such big idols to me and I adore their work so much that being selected by them feels SO amazing. I feel so grateful right now! This is one of those x-mas presents that you just couldn't ever buy with any money in the world :)

Hey everyone, I'm Linda, fantasy artist from Finland. I just joined your wonderful community today and am currently figuring stuff out. I might start a regular blog here, mainly art related and hope to possibly make some new friends and hang around with like-minded people.
So, it's wonderful to meet you all and I'm sure I'll be lurking here quite often :)
Hi Linda wishing you a warm welcome love your fairy illustrations and your pic is gorgeous, I see you are from Finland, are you far up enough to have ever seen the Aurora Borealis Hugs from Lib in Liverpool
Hello Linda, warm welcomes to you and Mr Stripe in Finland ~ I look forward to hearing more of the mythology and nature tales from your lovely land... We appreciate you joining our community and sharing your art with us here, what a pretty profile photo! It is good to have your company *waves* and I apologise for taking a while to greet you properly, I was working on our EF Faezine =)
Thank you friend for living in the magic,
I finished the botanical course a year ago, and it was the best course ever.
It's funny because I also looked at the childrens illustrations course. Did you like it? Do you have any art schools in Finland?
I joined you fan club:)
